OK - I'm now level 29 and some things I have only just realised.
Was wondering if there was ever a moment you thought to yourself. 'I'm such a noob!'
1. When you upgrade a skill - you must reassign it to the quickbar. (I was still only healing about 150 damage with no change in cooldown time.)
2. There are several pages in the NPC's stores. (Took me ages to realise this one when I couldn't find any cleric armour at Elderine)
3. It doesn't matter where you put the upgrade stone. It's all luck. (I used to keep note of where I put it last time and never put it in the same line)
4. Dancing does not give you xp. Seriously... I was sure it did when I first started.
5. Licenses can only upgrade if the colour of the boss is NOT gray. (One time I spent 2 hours killing ratmen wondering why the weapon percentage wouldn't upgrade. - I was level 25 at the time)
6. XD <--- this is a face. I thought it was a typo for XP. (experience)
7. The composition skill is USELESS!!! (Yes, I have that skill.....noob)
Please tell me I'm not the only noob. Thanks.

hahah the only thing out of that list i didnt work out is that the composition skill was useless, i didnt know what was what and i clicked that one cause it sounded ok... it wasnt...
oh and the only other thing that i didnt know till like lvl 40 was if i held down control and right clicked then it would sell the entire stack, i had been furiously clicking like 50 times per stack to get it all, same with stones... my life became so much easier after learning that.
and im sorry but that dancing one, thats so funny! ^.^

I didnt know that you can accept more than one quest from the same NPC by clicking the "Quest List" button.
Didnt find out till lvl 30.

LOL. That dancing one was really funny.
<--- realized #1 when she was lv32... >_________<
By the way, you do know that XP is a face also? Just like :P... lol
Most people type "exp" for experience... lol.
Oh, and I have composition skill too... >.>

AHAHAHAH I didnt see this either. Actually, my MOM found this out. I was like "WHAAAAAAAAT?!?! O.O"
I was so confused lol.
Another thing...
I didnt notice mob color til like.. lv 30. Kid you not.
I didnt know there was a grid until someone explicitly told me how to turn it on
And.. I didnt know what the heck "res" was for the longest time, but knew it was short for "revive" somehow, and that when you die, to shout it out along with grid coordinates (after i found out about the grid).
This is sad, cus Im a cleric too lol

res is actually short with ressurection. Which many players who have played others games are accustomed too.

Yeah I know. ONly games Ive played its always "Revive" or if it isnt, I just call it that. Ehhhh I dont think it matters if its res, rev, resurrect, or revive.. we all know what it means lol

I didn't realize I could sell items in stacks until my second lvl 30 character. I didn't realize I could fill my hp/sp stones with one click until my second lvl 30 character.
As for comp being useless, I have found a VERY good use for it, but for now it will remain my secret...

You can sell a stack of items?..... oh dear. that's another one.
And am I a noob for saying 'rez' instead of 'res'?
One last one I would like to add - at level 28 - I saw a chest moving and I ran away from it. I thought it was a mimic and would kill me.

lol @ the chest! Loves it.
Err... this is embarassing, but I thought that the Paladin in eldy only had one page of cleric skills you could learn, until one day I saw another cleric who was lower level than me and had these crazy things going on... THEN I realised my mistake and bought up 5-8 different cleric skills. I was very poor that day, and felt very stupid. lol.
I also didnt know that you could move fast or slow... until i started walking and cussed many wonderful things at my screen since I could not figure out what I'd done... >.<

I just realised that 'rev' means 'revive' by reading Page 1 of this thread.

Oh so many, ohh so many noob moments...
As this is my first MMORPG, I am learning via trial by fire a lot of things everyone else 'knows"
Just found out what AOE (when used as a verb) meant like 3 days ago, I'm level 38.
That selling mats for scrolls just because they don't show up on your list is pretty stupid.
That a character 5 levels higher than you can probably tank better than you, regardless of class
and...
Most embarrassing noob moment, just yesterday I asked if anyone in robo quest could buff out my recently revived character (it was both the first time I had ever died in robo, and I am horrible at keeping track of what level skills come at). Yeah, needless to say I had a room full of laughing PCs...

What does it mean? I still don't know...
and for the stone thing, I wasn't able to upgrade weapons till like lvl 30 cause I didn't know you had to unequip the weapon to upgrade it...

AOE = area of effect
Rev, Rez, Res = Revive, Resurrect
Composition =/= useless
And yeah, we all have our noob moments. :p

What does it mean? I still don't know...
I posted this in another thread, but can't remember which so I'll just retype it...
In its verb usage, it means the action of a party that consists of at least 2 characters. One, preferably a tank or clanker, runs around collecting mobs. The second must have an area of effect attack, who then uses it on this massive number of mobs at once.
It is very efficient and can wrack up some serious exp in a very short amount of time, but the chances of dying are fairly high if you don't have a really good party. The more the merrier.
I usually will not AoE without at least 1 good tank, 1 GREAT mage, and a full party.
So if you ever see someone saying "hey, lets go aoe in the Abyss" now you know what they mean. ;)

So that's what those people I was duoing with were doing when they collected up huge mobs.....

You can sell in stacks!?!?!??! omg... all this time...
Well I once found a green and saw it had stats of +21 Dex so I used it instead of my +17 str, +14 end, +8 spr. I gave this one away to another archer >.>"
Only realised until MUCH later that dex is not that much of a stat... to any class...

Yay! Now I don't feel so bad for not knowing all that time that you could sell in stacks! In case you are all wondering how to sell in stacks, you hold down the left shift (yes it has to be the shift on the left side of your keyboard for whatever reason) and then right click the stack of items. Be warned however that when you use this you can also sell equips without it asking you first, so if you have a stack of stuff to sell next to something you absolutly in a million years don't want to sell, be extremely careful.

I think that was the worst part, I had like 10 of the 18 characters there on my friends list or who were guildies. Nothing like munching on shoe leather in front of a bunch of your friends
