Logging in problem. [Archive]

I type in my username and password, then I click on "Play." Then a black box about 3/5s the size of my screen flickers on the top left side. Then nothing happens. The game doesn't load or anything. Just goes straight to my Desktop.

Does this have something to do with my firewall? Or is it some kind of other issue?

The same thing is happening to me. I found out that if I changed my computer's colour quality to 16 bit that it would open but the graphics would not display.
