A week or so ago, I was playing on my sister's laptop on Sand Beach when the juice ran out, nd the pc went into "Hibernation".

When I got the charger and came back, Fiesta was still open, and I noticed that eveverything stopped moving. I couldn't interact with anything, but I could run around as much as I wanted to. O_o Odd.

Hibernation screws up 99% of the processes that run. Turn it off or change the settings. It's better for the laptop to shutdown at that point then to go in hibernation.
It screws up mp3 music on most, or every type of pc/laptop and all sorts of things. In those cases you often need to restart before everything works properly again. Only thing hibernation can be nice for is if you're just simply writing a paper or whatever and you're traveling.
Since the only thing good about hibernation is that you can continue quickly with what you were doing, at least, quicker than a normal startup. Or like in the netherlands where you have some trainstations that have internet, while others don't and not all trains have internet access to check on arrival and departing times. Since starting up a laptop takes too long often since you depart before you can even look something up.
