View Full Version : What are the ideal stats for a Cleric & What happens?

I am alittle confused with the stats on where you should be pumping etc.
- Where do you start with cleric stats?
- What kind of cleric is the best kind? Is it good to have alot of hp?
- If one enjoyed soloing, what are the stats for that
Is cleric the worst class to solo in?
Also what happens when beta is over? Do all characters get reset? Back to level one and start all over?

Since clerics will generally play the healer/off-tank, you want to pump SPR and END, and maybe a little in STR if you want a little more damage.
The END will give you the health to off-tank and survive if your heals pull aggro in a group, and the SPR will give you more SP to heal more. Do not put points into INT, since clerics have no damage spells, it's useless.
For soloing, you'll still want to focus on SPR and END, but you'll definitely want some points in STR as well. Personally, I'd say clerics are one of if not the best classes to solo in, because your heal spells will help you last longer in tough fights and save you money on pots, stones, etc.
When CB ends, all the characters get reset, but I think the higher level ones get to keep their names (but nothing else; still back to level one).

Also to add as a 19 cleric so far.
Every 1 SPR point gives a 0.2% chance to crit (is this still right? Either way it's a small increase in crit rate per SPR point),and believe me later on you'll value those crits. I've gradually noticed an increase in my crit rate as I've levelled up.
So far I've done +2 END and +1 SPR every 3 levels,focusing more on END defense than SPR MP/crit rate as I intend to become a 'battle cleric' or basically not a pure support cleric with everything on SPR.
I'm going to have to disagree with adding any extra points to STR. I reckon adding extra points to DEX for weapon accuracy and evasion might be more useful than STR,especially since STR seems to rise nicely per level anyway and we survive more than we damage hard anyway. At level 19 I have hitting problems vs. Grave Robbers/Kebings sometimes,especially when*Kebings slap that Decreased Aim debuff on me. It's not always bad but I feel that missing too often as a cleric is not*efficient for our survivability dps.*So I reckon any spare points you want to add should be on DEX.
But personally I don't think any points should be added on STR/DEX; they rise nicely per level and you can use rings to buff them up if needs be. (The Phinos in Forest of Mist drop +2 STR/DEX/END rings early on,grab two of those if need be) I personally am using one of those Phino Rings and a +3 END ring,but I'm tempted to switch over to two Phino rings later on.

I just skilled on END and SPR. Think its good but im lvl 12 so it can change later
