Dude, that's what enahcnement is all about. It's a risk. Don't enhance if you're not willing to lose it. That part about Dakkon piggy backing you? Complete insult, my friend, and now your probably looking at facing a little jail time as well for that.

i have spent well over 200 dollars enhancing my gear and seva has spent well over........... im not getting into that but the point is enhancing is a risk, a monopoly if you will. its just like roulette in vegas, you put your money in a spot you THINK it will land on and its a 50/50 chance it will.

If you don't want to take risk or spend over $50, just do a safer way like what I did;

Collect few golds (I know it's a pain in the bum, plus time consumption), and buy yourself a premade pants+9

Okay, in all seriousness, I agree the failure reates seem a bit high. I also don't think they are going to change any time soon. +9 items are supposed to be rare, nearly epic items, especially at the higher levels. Of course it will be harder to enchant them to that level. It also makes them more expensive.... both in real $ if you use stones and for gold due to the money and effort put into it. This should limit the number of people running around with epic gear. Is this their intention? I don't know, but it seems to be the result.

Main job of Perfect stones is prevent breakable<red stones(and i wish to known if this bugg issue have ben cleared)>, blue Stones<degradation>and using them do NOT increase propability of succes durring enchancing.
From what i read Gold mile will increase succes propability...

No one is MAKING you buy stacks and stacks of Red Eyes and Blue Miles because you want a +9.

If you don't make it to +9 the first time, and don't want to spend anymore money than you already have, then don't buy more. Wait till your next paycheck and throw some cash towards another stack some other time.

And just like you said, It's just a game. You don't Need +'d weapons and gear. It's just something nice to have.

It's crazy what some people spend on this game. I haven't spent a penny. But really, did you guys know gas prices are going up? There are better things to spend money on, food, going out with your friends (if you have no friends, using that money to buy friends), bills, school, stocks (why not try to double that money), and all the other stuff you need. I used well over 50 of each red eye/blue mile to +9 my lvl 70 xbow, but it is worth it, or it will be once I hit 70 >.< Everything else I would say has been covered already.

i make me spend that money. however, only after it fails to succeed am i forced to realize the cost. it's a huge surprise to say the least. so if it costs in the neighborhood of $50-$55 to enhance a tier 3 item.....omg what should one charge for that? 1g? super heck no!!!

Well its not coming out for this patch, or it wasn't last time I looked at the patch notes, and it was only announced that t1 and t2 gold nines were coming out...so no more luck for us people that are doing t3 stuff >.<
