Kingdom Quest Problems [Archive]

Hi all this is my first post and I'm affraid it's not a positve one.

The Kingdom Quest list really needs to be changed, for 3 days now I have not been able to join a single quest, and I have friends that cant either.

I have a watch that is perfectly timed to when they will start, I have tried clicking 1 second before, 1 second after, 2 seconds after and right at the point where it changes to 'Recruiting', but still I get the 'too many participants' message.

Now I dont know if its lag from server or my side, but I have an 8mb connection and ping constantly under 100 in other games.

I dont know what could be done to change the way it works, but right now I see this as a VERY big reason not to play this game at release.

How long before the KQ starts are you opening up the list?

I have found if you open the list a few minutes before it goes into &quot;recruiting&quot; stage it is easier to get in.

I've also had a few issues getting in to kingdom quests. But Persistance seems to pay off. However I am now on the 3rd quest, to kill the King and Queen slime. I've tanked and killed the king twice but haven't gotten credit either time. Seems a bit off to me. :(

How long before the KQ starts are you opening up the list?

I have found if you open the list a few minutes before it goes into &quot;recruiting&quot; stage it is easier to get in.

I usually stand there a good 10mins before, then obviously keep window open for the entire run of quests.

* I have the same problem. I am probably going to uninstall the game if I can't get in the first quest.

there are alot of ppl in* the server right now thir stress testing the server.

it wont*be like that when ob comes cause there will be more servers out so you can make a kq.*

Here's something for you to try, don't stand around the guy that gives the KQ out waiting for them to start, use the little egg timer icon next to your map to start the quest, thats what*I use and I hardly ever miss them.

there is some jackhole on Tefa server by the name of PrincessSheena who has been goin into KQs for the sole purpose of filling slots so others cant join...as soon as the thing fills and it starts rejecting people they leave the quest...I personally saw him/her enter 3/6 of the KQs at 23:00, 23:04, and 23:06 only to leave seconds later.... and since teh quest was full at one point it will no longer let anyone fill those slots... for instance by the time the last kq started recruiting there were only 11 people in the first one...this is angering me and many others as we need the KQ for an actual quest...please do something about it...

You have to get a quest from the guy first..

I'm not trying to defend this person as I agree with you that once in you do the quest, but I will bet what is happening is that the person is entering the quest and trying to enter with friends, while they are getting in and their friends are*not, then they leave to try the next quests to enter with their friends. Maybe it should be that once you have been accepted into a KQ you can not apply for another till the next time they come around.

I'm sorry if someone else has already posted this, but there are dozens of posts every minute on these forums and I can't read them all.

For KQ, I've tried at least 30 times to get into KQ, and only been in once. Its awesome, and from the size of it I can understand that doing more of them would lag the servers but, havn't you thought of simply spreading the KQs so they don't all start in the same 10 mins? Then maybe you'd be able to increase the number of KQs.

I'm estimating a good 1000 people trying to join the KQ, and it doesn't take a genious to work out that only 90 will get in. This isn't good. Can you please change this?
