Whenever I try to download, it works, but it won't run. It says its corrupted, and I down;aoded more than one copy of the program to see if it'd work.

you might be suffering from a "silent download failuer" (in otherwords, your IE have closed the download window even though the download wasn't finished).




you should use a download manager if you have a slow connection (like myself). Here is how to use a download manager if your with Seamonkey:


Once the download have started, right click on the download name and select "Copy URL", then paste the URL in your download manager. (don't forget to cancle the download in Seamonkey).

Try using a differnt browers. Some times IE works better the FF. I like firefox myself. But IE works better for some downloads.

You also have to watch that your virus acanner is turned off as it might be blocking some of the files. this has happened to a lot of ppl. including me.

I can't seem too download the game. It freezes after awhile then time expires.* If anyone could help that would be great.

the only thing I can think to recommend is to disable your fire wall and virus scanner as they can decide to block the files and causing the download to stop (The download seems to be safe noone has reported any viruses from doing this and it is common for this to be necessary)

Start>>control panel>>*windows fire wall>>disable.


The virus scanner I'm not to sure off I had it sitting in my task bar at the bottom and just had to right click and hit disable but this will depend on what protection you have perhaps if you post what one you have someone can help you.

I managed too turn off the firewall but that mearly increased download time too 31 hours.


Is it possible I could have a friend download it to a disk then just install it from that?

Yeah.* That was bugging me for awhile but I have everything I need too run it atleast at minimum.* This seems too happen on every mmo I try too download off the internet.* It's really starting too **** me off.

if your download does start then it stops after a while, it is to do with the connection timing out, it have nothing to do with the firewall or AV (IMHO, the AV check the download after it is completed not before).


use a download manager, there are a number of free download managers out there, install any of them, then use them to download the large file.



DO NOT DISABLE YOUR FIREWALL FOR THE SAKE OF A DOWNLOAD!!!! and for that matter, why are you using Microsoft firewall? it is a 1 way firewall, you can get a free copy of zonealarm which is a 2 way firewall!!!. Any way, it is up to you which one you use, ether way, the firewall is not why you are losing your download _after_ it have started to download.

P.S. yes, it is possible to get the download using another computer and install it on your computer
