Annoying Kill Stealers

Anyone else have this problem? Seems everyday i get on, and im killin a mob, some person runs up and starts hittin it, EVEN THO they've seen me attack it. It's usually low levels just waitin to get the kill so they can get exp... but sometimes its people my lvl or higher that just comes up and hits it. Pretty annoying :(


*I suggest that mobs can only be attacked by 1 person unless in a party... So if someone else comes up and tries to hit it they get a message like "It's attacking someone else"

also some people have slower computers that lag alot and they chose the monster to kill and the computer lags... that happens to me alot. So when the computer decides to move again Im standing there next to somebody and we are both looking at a dead corps lol...

It aggravates me too sometimes. But you have to realize, sometimes, if people see you being atacked by multiple monsters, they might think you need help and are just trying to rescue you. So don't be too hard on em. I usually just say "thx" and go away. I must admit, Ive tried to save a few, and I've failed a few. Makes you feal bad when you try to rescue someone and they die and you get the kill./sites/all/modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cry.gif

They also could have been hiding characters (Ctrl+Z) and not have seen you.

locking kills sucks.. hate when mmorpgs do that.. it's just annoying.. makes it to where you cannot help if you need too.. many bad things about it.


KSing is annoying.. but I frequently find that it is misinterpreted..


I pull with longer delay abilities frequently.. someone will run up and try to take my kill as an arrow slams into it.. They don't realize they are doing it all the time, but it happens frequently.


conversly on my warrior i'll run up to something just as a mage or archer tags it.. very frustrating regardless of which one you were/are.

If they do that to me I just pop off Nature's protection. If they want the mob then they can tank it. It works really well on low levels trying to get some of your exp. I dont worry about it as far as I can see the XP gets split up according to the amount damage delt even if you are not partying It only annoys me when I'm trying to complete a quest and they get the final blow so then I dont get to add it to my quest.


If they annoy me to much then I follow them around and steal there kills.(wich is very easy to do as a mage)*

yeah treb, that is fun; only works for the one side though. My worries is usually when you lose the kill count you wanted/needed.

I had a nice one earlier on, leveling up a cleric doing the mushroom fighter quest.
