It's mostly because it is very hard to beat without serious teamwork.

You have 15 people (or was it 10? I cant remember because it's been over half a year since Ive been in it) and only 30 minutes to climb the stairway to heaven where you throwdown on big bad Honeying.

Unfortunately most never make it past the 2nd tier.

If you are serious about doing it I suggest you get 10 very close friends and plan out your strategy before hand. I think the best combinations for this are 2 47+ pure end fighters, 2-3 47+ clerics, 5-6 REALLY good archers/mages. Now if you can find an archer that is lvl 50 and almost 51, what you can do to give yourself a large advantage is to have him/her lvl in KQ and bring NM with them, as that will make them extremely helpful.

Your strategy should be one of the following:

1) Send your tanks into the nearest group of mobs, mock, adn then balst away. When there are 2-4 mobs left out of that group bring them to the next group, so on and so forth until you hopefully get to the giant honeying. When you get there, one tank takes the GH while the other takes as many of the small ones as possible, take care of teh small ones as they spawn.

2) Have two balanced parties and leapfrog each otehr on your way through the mobs (for example, group A charges into the first group of mobs while group B runs past into the next group) then follow the final instructions above for GH.

I have seen teh GH go down before, but sadly have never won as we still had all the spawns left :( GL and happy hunting to those brave enough to try!

People really ought to try it though... still a lot of fun even if you don't get to the top.

The only reason I didn't do it on Daos back in the day was taht 1) no one wanted to and 2) I was in my mid-late 40s by the time the new patch came out so I was far more interested in MD XD

And #1 playing the biggest role in that. :P I really do think we need another party in there though... o__o Cause the reward is similar to Spider KQ.

hmm i remember when a mage was tanking the gaint honeying , it was almost dead..then the mini honeyings pwned us all

I just finished a Honeying... with an Archer, a Mage, a tank (myself), and the rest Clerics. Needless to say we failed but I think... that maaaaybe if we had replaced even half those clerics with DDs we could've actually done it. D< And one more tank... o__o Those procks hurt!

It's empty because its almost impossible to beat....i went in at lvl 50...got close to the top but we failed cause we had like 50 seconds left O.o i dont see how hero fame and some others beat it...but to me its a waste of time and is boring T-T
