ok so leveling in this game takes to long. the exp gained from monsters vs how tough vs how much u need to gain the lvl is an outrage.* im lvl 12 needing over 1k of exp to lvl killing crap that gives 11-13 exp a kill and doing quests that give crap for exp. there is a certain monster known as the phillo but the female version which i donno there phillips or something. they slam people down left and right for 13 exp and a quest that gives 69 exp. ok* its something like 10 of them and 10 of ther hair pins ok thats 130 exp for killing them all and 69 exp for the quest so u get not even 200 exp for that whole thing and there long range plus deal outragous amounts of damage. so if thats not wrong i donno what is. the exp should be upped by alot i should get like 40-50 exp a kill and like 100-200 exp for the quests especial if the monster is gonna beable to kill me in 3 shots at a distance no dought.
this comes from your friendly game loving antic uncletaco.

im there with ya but the "Philoflies" arn't really hard to kill if your an archer. I agree the experiance should be upped but not to 40-50 per kill maybe 10-30 but 40-50 would take the fun out of the game seriously. Also the quest thing your right about. 69 exp and 13 copper isn't ****! We deffinantly need more for the quest rewards but not so much the killing monsters. Thats a nice topic though!

Do KQ's if you want to level faster. I think the game is extremely easy to level up in compared to most MMO's /shrug

I would do KQ's but every time the recruit ent time comes I'll click Participate and it says "can't find requested Kingdom Quest" or something like that.

First of all, listen to the ppl above me and KQ it helps with lvling alot. Second, it's an mmorpg lvling is supposed to take time or else the game would be to easy and ppl would only play for a few weeks. Thirdly, you're lvl 12 and you think lvling is hard? I got to lvl 18 in one day easily. You might want to consider stopping right now cause lvling only gets harder...a lot harder. At lvl 30 I need 50000 exp to lvl and the monsters I kill give me 50-100 exp (just so you know what you have to look forward to)
Alot of people of complained about the grind already but, in all honesty, the grind is rather easy when compared to most other games. Most of the high lvls you see walking around have been playing since CB1 (I have too but the lvl 30 is my 5th character) and if someone that just got in, came in and had a lvl 40+ in a week I'd be a little irritated.
And just one final note. The best way to "deal" with the grind is to make friends in the game. There have been times when I've gained about 20% while just sitting and talking to ppl in a field and only killing mobs that att us.So in short (oops too late) Friends = my anti-grind.
p.s. srry if parts of this post are harsh...I'm just sick of ppl complaining about a relativily balanced grind

ive played an mmorpg where lvling was a huge pain in the ***,(metin 2), but the first 25 lvls are easy enough i made 2 lvlsa day easily then, after* lvl 25 it became a pain in here to now im lvl 29 and i just quit my characterbecause its to much of a pain, KQ always full because there are more lvl 20 chars. Grinding is a pain if you are a ranger and fighting alone.
just want a mmorpg that isnt grind based.
