noob question on KQ loot

ok.. I did my first KQ and after it was done people were talking about the "crappy" prizes. Well I get transported back to Rumen, and was looking at my inventory and saw a "treasure" box? I right clicked on it and it disappeared, I'm guessing I opened it but there was no loot? I was still with party members at the time. My question is, was there no loot for me? or did it go to another pt member?

Did you inventory happen to be full? As in full with the treasure box?

Did you check your entire inventory? You could've used an item before it, and when it opened the item would've gone into the previous slot.
