Armors upgrade!

When u enhance an armor, boots, pants, or helm, only def get a bonus... and magic def...?
How can we kill mages with this?
When u enhace an armor to +9, against mages is like u using a +0 armor!
I think, to balance things to all sides, defense and magic defense must get bonus in upgrade.
Mages got the higher dmg in game, and without upgrade in armors, they will kill everyone in pvp (this happens all the time)
I hope a solution for both sides.

That's why you get armor with SPR on it, as it increases magic def. You also ask a nice cleric to buff you with HP/SP and magic def increase. T3 magic def scrolls also work wonders ;)

you wanna be a mage pwner huh? i am currently in the process of making a hardcore mage pwner. i have a full spr archer. unfortunitly i have only just recently switched to the epith server and my archer is still lvl 10^^. however i plan to go full spr and get spr rings. in addition i plan to get as much spr gear as i can.

just for everyone's info. i don't want to pwn mages because i don't like thier class. its just because its kinda hard to take them down once they get to a high enough lvl. once they get mana burn and purge it gets kinda hard to get the upperhand. i am just looking for a challenge, so if your a mage in pvp on epith watch out because one of my players might attack you.

Full spr is really for the crits and sp. 50 points is a whole 25 extra defense... Still, my spr armors and things are nice and my magic def, spr, str, end, and dex are all pretty much the same XP magic and melée damage makes no difference so things are all working out.
Although fighters and their accuracy with an ax scare me much more than a mage these days, at least I can dodge mages.

And personally, I'd prefer evasion instead of defense to increase anyway..

errr. spr is good... but... when we get spr, mages can set points in endurance... they do massive dmgs, no bonus magic defense in armor is a pointless to other jobs.
This must be fixed.

I believe what should be added is the evasion increase in each enhancement. It evades both magic and non magic attacks IMO.

Please remember that there has been enough archer friends who have either quit their archer class or quit the game after reaching around lvl 60. Is there anything wrong with giving ideas on how we could improve a class in an MMORPG?

Very true 'bout no magic defence. But then again, the game still is in developement stages. Funny though, you seem to be the first to realize this fundamental flaw. +rep for sheer alertness. PM a GM about it.
