GW status

My friend created an alt guild and set it to GW exhibited. But now, she wants to change it to GM available for a guild event. I remember someone saying that we can ask the GMs to change the guide status, only once, after the guide has been made. Is it true? Just wanted to check before I send in a PM.

No, to my knowledge that is false. I base this off of previous GM statements by Dakkon and Steam. The reason behind this is, the people then want to be put back to non-warring status afterwards. They frown upon such and therefor have stood by such statements in order to be fair to everyone as a whole and to avoid it being abused by guilds.

I too believe once a guild is battle/exhibit, it is stuck like that. You'd have to disband the guild then remake it if you want it to be a warring guild. I recall Steam saying this awhile back.

Even if you don't want to war, you could still make it a warring guild, just in case the day comes, and so you can participate in GM GW events.
