is ther a level limit? to plvl

I was wondering if theres like a level difference limit when power leveling someone
because i once plvled some random guy who was lvl 12 and i was 21 and he was getting good exp. but then i tried plvling a friend he was lvl 3 and im 26 but he keeps getting 1exp
i was killing gold slimes and glow wolfs both are yellow to me at the moment.

does it have something to do with the monster or the lvl difference?

any help would be awesome.

The person has to be within 30 levels of the monster you are killing. That is how it works now. So if you kill something that is 30 levels higher then your lvl 3 friend he will only get 1 exp while your level 12 friend is getting good experience.

just checked on a fiesta fan site and it says gold slimes are lvl 24, that means he should get the exp, unless u meant 20 lvls?

Well, it works out that at 29 levels you get 1 exp.
28 Levels you get slightly more than 1 exp.
It works up fractionally til about a 25 level difference where you get the full benefit of the exp you should be getting.

the experience form glow wolves is so little it becomes basically 1 exp until I certain time.

The key to powerleveling now is to aoe monsters that are around the persons level.

tried killing lizardmens which are a bit lower lvl and still nothing.

i will try what Kirei suggested about AoEing lower lvl ones see if that works.

Edit: well i tried the AoE thing but the other guy still gets 1exp

Also keep in mind that at level 3, he's not going to gain much exp.
When you are in those early levels you gain from 1-10 exp ish until you are able to grind in FoM which could get you anywhere from 11-30exp depending on the monster.
So the amount of exp will relate to his level to some degree.

So at level 3 this person is going to get very low exp, and with it being split with you in the party, it's going to be even lower. It may be best to let this person gain a few levels for themselves before you try to powerlevel them again. Plus it will give them some sort of experience how to play the game and their character if they aren't just being powerleveled. Plus there are many helpful quests that will give them free gear.
