************* Today is my 1st day playing this game and it looks awsome so far but as a new mage to this game i am wounderin if there are mage trainers? such as found in other online games to learn new spells or get a new job or level advancment and such. If anyone can tell me if there are please do and tell me where 9i am currently and will forever be) at the starter city. thank you

Nope, as far as i know there aren't any..there is a Mage Skill Master...but he doesnt teach you anything besides sell skills to you..basically you just need to level up and the more you level up, you become differnt ranks such as apprentice mage and wizmage. You can buy spells at teh skill merchant, just make sure its for you and not for another class.
