hhmmnn.. it depends on your stats...if your pure END you need to use 1hand and shield..Then if your Pure STR 2hand or axe is the weapon..if your hybrid like STR/END END/SPR you can use 1hand/shield,2hand,or Axe..it depends on what you like..so good luck and enjoy playing fiesta.. hope it help a bit..

depends, what would you like to do?

If you want to Tank for pt's ( hold mobs while others in your pt lay down dmg) use 1h with shield. Or if you want to be a DD fighter ( Damage Dealing ) use 2h or axe.

Or you could just do it the way i do, roll around with +9 axe, 2h, and 1h..heh use w/e fits the mood :3

in short, if you want lower dmg and higher def use 1h (usually 1h fighters are very reliant on pt's) Or if you want to be a power house capable of a fast solo rate go with 2h or axe. more of a choice of prefrence.

As a fighter, you main role is to tank for your party, that means you should always carry a 1h sword and as well as a shield, whether you a pure end build or not.

2h sword or axe is just a matter of preference:

2h sword > axe in speed and looks
axe > 2h sword in damage and critical %

You can use either 1 of these if you are more interested as a damage dealer(DD).

Generally you should be using a 2h sword or an axe, (I recommend axe as it's more powerful) but also carry an extra 1h sword and a shield in case if you are in party and willing to tank.
