I guess admins do read this forums (at least I hope) and I hope they do listen to players when it concerns their game.
There are a couple of things that I'd hope to see improved before the game launches:
- In kingdom quests you are with 15 people, though you can only make teams for 5. Normally 5 is nice, but in these kingdom quest it would be better to have 1 big party, as you are operating/fighting as 1 party and not as 3. This way it will be easier to keep track of others health and it will be easier to get your quest done (though quest might get too easy then, so to balance it you might want to make those harder by letting them kill more beasts). Getting the kill for the last quest in a KQ, like kill the king slime for example, is now very hard to complete. I haven't completed it, even as I have been in that KQ for a dozen times. I've been main tank in there half the time, but I never completed the quest. I understand that the kill goes to the one with the killing blow, well when as main tank with 2/3 clerics in your party, the odds are quite a bit against you for making that. This last one is quite a big problem for most of us, and it would easily be solved with just making 1 KQ-party.
- Getting into KQ's. Well I know the servers are being stress-tested and that it will probably not be so crowded after launch, but I was more thinking about getting into a KQ with a friend or with a couple. Right now you have to be lucky to get in the same KQ, and I guess that won't change after launch. Think about guilds, guilds like to hang out together, do stuff together, do missions together. Why then make it impossible for a guild to do a KQ together? There should either be an option to join a KQ with a guild or with friends, or the system should get a total revamp. What about a system in which the KQ not start every 2 hours, but always. When a KQ is full, it starts and a new one is made, when that one is full it starts and a new one is made. If you don't want players to only play in KQ's to level quickly, just put a timer on the characters so they can't join a KQ for 2 hours after having played one.
Another way to do this would be to let players 'host' a KQ,* like you host a an internet game and you wait for other players to join you. This way you could lt players set a password or let them tick a box for friends or guildmates only. Solves the problems of players not getting in, and of players not being able to play with friends.
- Crafting system is ok, except for the 'material composition/decomposition' part. It's useless right now. The things you can make with it are more easy to farm then to make. First things you can make is Copper normal and high quality. Well getting into the echo cave and farming those coppers in there is faster and cheaper then buying alchemy stones and making them out of 4 copper low qual. Then after you found 400 copper and turned them into normal quality, you can do the next step: Mushrooms! Hooray! Ok let's say someone actually needs those upgrade mushrooms (?) you farm 11 (!) spoiled mushrooms, get an alchemy stone (for fame!) and upgrade it. Then what, you either find another 1089 mushrooms before getting to the next step, or you return to using copper and get another 400 of those. You get it...
Well then the usefull things you actually need for making stuff like potions and scrolls are somewhat on the end. You need 800xp in it before being able to make spirits fruit normal quality, which would be quite usefull to be able to make a bit earlier. For tier 2 potions you need Signs of Trace, well it's not on the composition list so I guess you need 1000 xp in it at least before being able to make those (that's 4000 copper...)
Well you get my drift, it should be a little easier to get better at it, as it is quite easy to get better at making pots/scrolls/stones. Either the alchemy stones should be easier to get (why not sell the for money or at least sell them in Roumen) or you should need less of the lower quality to make a better quality (I know the sum of the sell (to NPC) price of the ingredients should be higher then the sum of the sell (to NPC) price of the product, you shouldn't be able to make money with it by selling it to an NPC)
Haven't done a thing yet with decompositio, but yeah who would want to downgrade stuff anyway :P
- It's nice you did change the text size, but now some boxes are too small. Think this will be fixed though. And with that should be said that when you type more the fits in the chat box, the whole line moves a bit down so it's hard for you to read what you just typed.
Will return when I think of more.
These are just my couple of cents ;)*
