Trying to make Apoline a better place...

Hello dear forum readers and fanatics,

Today i just realised something... after reading countless threads and rants and whatever u call it about why people leaving and all the reason that our beloved Lady Apoline is not a shining pearl that she deserves to be. I noticed a major factor....

"No one does anything about it, leave the problem unattended and just watch all the good guys and ladies fades behind the growing shade of monsterousity and evil that is plaguing our beloved Lady Apoline."

Therefore, i wish to take the initiative with the help of my beloved Guild Members of Love_HurTs to urge the citizen of Apoline to stand together and tall and help vanquish these evil that is plaguing our lands.

Therefore me and my guildies vow :

I. To leave no honorable and good guy/lady in Apoline unrewarded for their good deads.
a) may it be participation in just a random dancing event.
b) just occasionally being friendly, helpful and caring.
c) just helping to give directions, quest help, or guides or even take out t heir busy time to buff people or reviving people although it is taking their time and sp.
d) or Just trying to make the grinding session more fun. *silence is boring*
e) Just generally trying to make this GAME fun and enjoyable again. *after all its just a game*

Why do i want to start this initiative :

I. People get too exp oriented, relax it just a game. Plus no one really care that much that u are high level. *wanting to level no matter what, or reach new job level, new stage or worse cap* Who hogs grinding places, dont want to share, or worst move over to a new place and take all mobs. Dishonorable and sad.
II. People who are perverts although the characters are just animations. Please remember, there are kids playing this game too. Don't be an irresponsible adult.
III. People who think they are GODZ when they are high level... *i have pity on them, because its just a game... basically if u're just a character in a fantasy. Do u really think that u are god..? I pity u if u think that way and pray daily that god bless u with a life in the real world*
IV. People that a generally haters and meanies in this world because they are not loved...? in real world...? *basically i think they think they can be mean here since no one reallie knows them in real world... "what a sad choice of thought and show of character"*
V. The list can go on till eternity... But then again im sure most of u dont even care... But if u do, just take a while a walk around Apoline to see how bad the apples are....

Therefore to those who care, i urge u to do SOMETHING about it. Make a DIFFERENCE and be a part of a new Hope transition towards a new and better Revolution in apoline!!!

I personally will pledge 2g just to support this cause and rewards those who i think are worthy. They shall be rewarded for making our Lady Apoline a better place. After all, what is the need of the few compared to the need of the many? So if u think this is right... Support our cause to make our Lady Apoline a better place not for us only but for all of Isya...

If people love Apoline so much, make it better. Complaining that Apoline isn't good doesn't make it better. Do something about it if you love Apoline so much. Otherwise, everything else is only lip service.

I've always thought this game was about having fun, and helping others to have fun too. So I agree with the OP. I'd also add that it's the duty of good players to report any bad ones. The GM's can't police every map 24/7, so we must do we can to stop swearing, sexual content, spot claiming etc. Take screenies and report!

NO, it's late to make the US a true democracy under the current system, but it's never too late to make positive changes in a community. If we're really lucky some of the people who have left and are continuing to leave are those who make the game unplayable and the community shabby. Get em in Roumen while they're young! We should all take a newbie or three under or wings and help them form step one...

We all need to set stepping stones and examples for all those who have high hopes of being able to play a game that doesn't involve too much drama or cause much stress. the way people act, the way people play all depends on the community and people that surround them. without unity or respect for one another the server is just as dead as it is. we all need to find common ground and learn that there is so much more to the game than just constant grinding.

careful with who you give stuff to though. some may take advantage of this. it's great that youre giving out what you have to help save the community, but i dont think that would be enough. we all need to actually come together and try to fix this problem. and as Versiee has stated she does make a point.

I have a good question. How can you stop the oldies of Apoline from quitting if they just get up and quit? You can't know they're quitting unless they openly say it, and sadly, that doesn't happen most of the time.

There is a lot of good still in Apoline... just tune out the goldbots and noobs... you'll find it.

Aion ish a small guild but we have been around a while... all members are commited to keeping to and educating others on good gaming etiquette. I have seen many players complain about nooby behaviors yet do nothing about it. Or worse, give in and act similarly.
I've always maintained that guilds as a subunit of the community have a certain responsibility to their members... hopefully taking in the lower levels and showing them how to be an asset to the game in general.

I applaud your efforts...every bit of nice helps brighten someone's day.

Well, i basically as Hazol said it... Simple proven psychology technique... Yes there will be people acting and disguising to be friendly, nice and good... *but eventually it would become a habit coming naturally to them* Plus, if one keep focusing only on the bad side and keep discussing without no actions... When will things change...? I'm not trying to change to the world to a better place... *that's impossible* i'm just trying to change myself to be better and hopefully people follow through examples... Btw, it doesnt mean i go around on my siggy char... I do have other accounts to hide and do random good deeds or test the wits, friendliness and generousity of players in apoline and rewarding them for their actions...

Meant in general that if people just get stuff without really ever putting any effort in it themselves, they get spoiled.

I mean... all those people just came to our server and started to talk rubbish...

And in party match... they started to write rubbish too...

I don't know about the low levels area... *basically i don't want to know.. since most of them will be talking how their servers are better* I mean i don't care which server is besT... I met lots of friends in Apoline... Most are great, some are good and a few people are just plain meanie... But hey... You have to take the Bad with the good... I'm just happier to see that most people have turn towards the better... And of course, i noticed that and shall repay their kindness in return...


Go Apoline... i love u all... you're bring joy to the once fallen... And together we can make Apoline a better place... Make a difference, be apart of the revolution!!!
