Ok, this is something I've thought about for a long time. What if people were able to use macros? For those of you who don't know, a macro is basically a shortcut, like for your spells, but can do more things, such as walk to the FoM gate, go there, pick herbs until your inventory is full, walk back to the Rumen bank, put it in, and repeat, all while you're AFK. Now, I wasn't thinking that we would have those kinds of macros, or killing macros. I was thinking we could have something like the gambit options used in Final Fantasy XII (WONDERFUL example). This is what a cleric's might look like:
Condition Action
(Party Member) HP>30% Heal (Pick whatever level)
A Mage would have something else. They could set up what kind of spells they want to cast, to save them from wearing out their fingers from endless button mashing.
Condition Action
(Mob selected and spell(s) Performs the spells in that order (with no
macro key is pushed) difference in casting time)

Problem is spam bots already use macros and some powerleveling services. How would the GMs be able to detect if you are just a player using a macro or an illegal bot grinding mobs?

Cuz we wouldn't be able to use mob killing macros........besides, most people say stuff when they see a GM............good point though. I've seen macros before, and even though it's not usually easy to spot them in the first few minutes, you realize soon that they don't move until something comes close, and there's other things that give them away as well.

That would be pretty much botting.
for(int i=0; i<(party_size-1); i++){
if(party[i].health/party[i].health_max <= 0.3)
cast(heal, level);
else if(party[i].health/party[i].health_max > 0.3 && party[i].health/party[i].health_max < 0.5)
case(heal, level-1);
}
Oh what fun. This could easily be expanded to Rejuvinate, Restore, Invincible, etc etc. I vote no.
However- if you could have something like
Key H/J/K/L/;: Casts level X heal on party member 1/2/3/4/self,
I would like it.
I didn't vote because I am not sure which you are advocating.
edit: Wow, I started writing this when there were no responses.

Well, think about it. People going to eat dinner wouldn't have to worry about their party being healed if they're clerics. Maybe strictly controlled macros?

The answer is no. Allowing macros of any kind is just opening the door for more abuse.
(legal) Macros in Fiesta? Not going to happen, sorry.
EDIT:
Furthermore
n) You may not leave an Outspark Account logged into the Outspark Service while unattended via either a software applications or physical object(s). If your Outspark Game persona is performing an action of any kind, you must be able to respond to an Outspark representative if approached.
In fact, based on that alone, I am afraid I have to shut this poll down.
My apologies for any inconveniences this may cause.

That's just it. That shouldn't happen. Where does it end? AFK all day? And leveling?

agree 100%.. macros of any kind are just a nice way of saying botting. if an outside program is controlling an otherwise inactive character, it's botting. xtrap would kick you anyway i think.
