ENHANCEMENT RATIO

something should really be done about the ratio for enhancing. After spending the time and effort to create elrue lix xir etc. then purchasing an item for lots of cash u go try and upgrade it only to lose the weapon before you get to +3 its rediculous. EX. wasted 100 silver today and never got past +3 with the first 12 hammers before they poofed. 13th i got to +4 then poof again. I might just be raging and this might not be the appropriate place to do it, but i think the ratio is retarded.

Or even perhaps a guaranteed + like, for a level 15 weapon it could be enchanted to +2 or something without being broken? But then again that would have BIG downfalls for later levels, so... ya that's a bad idea. xD

from another thread out here somewhere..* Sounds like the kind of thing your having a problem with.. and such a fix would certainly help the costs of the higher*level gear.


 


Then again, if thats the lvl 20 gear and you had 100s to burn, maybe it's good that it happend.* Every mmorpg needs a money sink, it's what keeps the economy from over inflating.

You know that KQ's give you anywhere from +3-5 weapons right? if you get a weapon from it

i've gotton a +6 from king slime (common, pretty much all characters), and one +3 from king slime.* I've never ever ever ever gotton a weapon from mara.. I have gotton a TON of other things.. So if it drops in mara it is not at all common.


I have heard that gold hills will drop weapons, but haven't recieved one yet.* I also haven't ran gold hills that much yet (seem to get back to the computer just a hair too late usually, which is why i've ran pirates so many times).

I have recieved one decent (not great) earring from Gold Hill in about 30 runs through it. Most of the other rewards are garbage( to put it mildly). I get elrues and lix but they are for level 1 gear, most of my gear is level 2. So I just vendor them. It seems the higher the KQ the less of a chance of actually getting anything useful.* Maybe I just have bad luck, but it is*to the point where just simply destroying the gift box is a better option than actually opening it./sites/all/modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-frown.gif

Think all i've gotton from gold hill is elrue stuff as well, one POS neck with resis on it.


I think the drops are somewhat level based (only get the better drops with top 2/3 of level req or so).* Part of what i think plays into things.. part.. got a few other ideas too.

weapon enhancing isn't really as much luck as you all believe.* buy cheap weapons and keep building them up to the max that elrue will do and sell them if u wish...but the more u upgrade the better you will get at upgrading...check your titles often as at first u'll get unlucky enhancer, apprentice enhancer, etc...as long as u have those titles selected i've noticed you will have less and less busted weapons...I've managed to get a weapon to +21...isn't all that great but my whole point is practice will make it easier to get better enhancements...lucky and blessed elrue, lix, and xir also help tremendously...


so if you dont upgrade that often and try to upgrade lets say*a 6 silver weapon...guaranteed u'll probally break it before getting to +5...spoken from personal experience haha...oops...it isn't guaranteed tho and u'll break more weapons...but it wont happen as often...

I've used my titles, they don't seem to do anything.. They are based off of the max + you've acquired per most of the guides..


+9 is max btw...
