Rumor questions for the GM's... Please answer and make notice in Fiesta about this please GM's

I know this isn't a bug but this is the only part of the forums that is closely watched by the GM's and this is a question for them:


*There have been rumors that are getting new players and me (lv 19) worried.


They are that everyone under the lv of 20 after beta closes will lose their characters.


I want to put an end to this and say it is or isn't true. The reason ive done this post is because ive heard that lv 30 and under, 10 and under, 20 and under, and 25 and under will be erased, and it is getting extreamly annoying. Anyone who sees the GM's response to this i beg you to tell the citizens and testers of Fiesta the truth. Because if the beta closes before i get back from break, this is goodbye if it is true... Please

There will be a wipe, but ALL characters will be wiped, not just the under level 20s.* The level 20 and up will however, get to keep their character names into the next beta, so someone who plays alot and gets past level 20 cannot be impersonated by someone else.

YES ALL CHARACTERS WILL BE ERASED...INCLUDING MY LVL 23 FIGHTER...its kinda like the end of the world and waking up in heaven...wait for the open beta if u dont like it...geez...

It is just a standard part of any beta.It is nothing new. I understand many people here are new to beta's and are not used to this happening.Any seasoned beta tester knows there will be a wipe and is fully prepared for it going in. Beta characters are "throw aways", Do NOT get to attached to them.They are for testing purposes and testing purposes ONLY. Always have been and most likely always will be.


I'm sorry many are frustrated by this. But you should have known going in that you wouldn't keep your character.It is fairly common knowledge


Beta testing is not for everyone. It takes a special kind of crazy to enjoy it.That is why I knew just opening the flood gates to the masses in this (or any Closed Beta for that fact)*was**a horrible idea.It started off as a invite only Closed Beta*and it*should have stayed that way.

You Should use this beta for testing all classes, what do you think BETA means? testing.. it would be nice to keep your characters, but tbh im glad they get deleted, because i allways create a new character once i know the game, then i wont make all the mistakes i made in the first place :)

People need to realize that while they play the game they need to find and report any Bugs. It seems that many have joined just for the free ride and the purpose of playing in the closed beta or any except when it goes Gold is to test the engine and programming of the game and make sure everything is running correctly. If anyone hates that their character is going to be erase then don't ever play a game in while its under Beta.

Use your head on your shoulders, not the other, before posting. This thread was over 2 months old and you just flogged a dead horse with your lack of intelligence before posting.

To help this "special" poster with a response... do the profession advancement quest so you can use the level 20+ items.
