This System makes me want to swallow drain-o whalst chewing tacks.

I know countless other people have cryed and complained about
the item refining system so I thought hey, its my turn. Ok after the GM
event on Aug.17.2007 I acumulated 3 Lucky Xirs, 2 Blessed Xirs, 4 Lucky
Lix, 4 Blessed Lix and Purchased around 60 Elrue's and 35-40 Regular
Lix's all for the sake of trying to level up a lvl 15 broad sword for
my fighter. Heres how it went. I spent ALL of those mats trying to make
a sword buying more of the 240c weapons as they broke along with buying
2 +6 Swords and 1 +5 sword with the 23s I started with. I WAS LEFT WITH
NOTHING.



I had a +7 it downgraded 2 times then broke.
This system makes me want to scream and hit my computer which I did 2
or 3 times during the hour+ i tryed making this damn sword. PLEASE FIX
THIS BEFOR BETA ENDS. If this feature isent fixed or I go crazy a
couple more times I am quitting this game and going to Ragnarok II
Online Close Beta. It ruins the whole game since I love making my items
better and its just not possible with this kind of luck in play. Thanks
I know its all been heard befor but this **** just makes me want to
stab something.

Not everyone is meant to have a +9 weapon simply because they want one.They wouldn't be so special then now would they? Do NOT attempt to upgrade something you can not afford to lose.


Is the system harsh? You betcha! it is supposed to be.Supposedly there will be more items to reduce failures,downgrading, and breakage of these items added later on. Until then you enhance at your own risk.

Im done. Unless they change the way weapon inhancement works or change the difficulty, I wont be back. I just broke my level 20 sword for the 6th time. You ask why we keep trying to upgrade. Well, maybe its because the game gets so hard after level 20. We are just trying To play. I cant get anywhere in burning hill. After every*couple of fights*I have to use a couple of potion. We have*3, 4 and sometimes 5 or 6 monsters attack us at once.*That either calls for the use of 6 potions, a house, or death.We do not*pick up*enough materials to keep up. And we cant buy anymore because people are using them or they are sold out.*And as you raise levels you dont get many material ( or sometimes no materials) from lower level creatures. This is becoming a PARTY ONLY game. Now, I have no money and no sword. Im gone for now. I will be back to see if things have changed when the real game starts. If it hasn't, I will be deleting my account.

Oh*yeah. blessed elures dont help at all. my last three losses were with blesseds. So even that was a waist of money.

did u already use blessed elrue's and succeed when enhancing? they aren't gonna work if its just "ok use a blessed and it won't break" its not that it won't it just lower's the chance of it breaking ONCE you atleast have used it successfully...

How about this, DON'T REFINE!


All it does is makes it shiny and increases damage by a few points. It's not gonna kill you to not have 10 extra damage a hit. >.>


Besides, after experiencing that much failures, aren't you better off getting a silver or two off of selling it to people than to have a higher chance of failing and losing more silver than you can afford?
