It's all really up to you. Rogue takes more time and patience, but in my opinion we own. I like to be ranged in most RPGs, but I chose the rogue path because I like our skills a lot better - it's more unique. The good thing about going scout is that you can level faster and can hold a lot more items because of power (also high damage), but for me that's not a good enough reason to switch at level 45. Once we become assassin at level 96 we pwn. I could add more but I think I've made my point.

It would depend.
Don't take scout as the easy way out. Most people who do, Quit that scout then remake another Neo. Wasted effort altogether.

As said, it's really up to you, do you prefer damage from a distance, or using stealth/stun skills and getting up and personal
It would depend.

I agree, chose what you want and stick to it. so many Neo's got sick of leveling and went to scout at 45, only to regret it, and make another neo to go rogue. while some wanted scout all along

yes, achers beat rogues, though achers are a higher class, and there were a LOT more of them. now more people are creating NEO/rogue accounts, and there are now assasins to throw in the mix, so we'll see how things go in future PvP. in total i think Achers and assasins are the two strongest PvP classes, so it will be an interesting battle to the death.

Not to mention a while back, as a Neophyte, I easily defeated a scout in the Solstice Survivor Duels, when most people thought I was going to lose. I believe we were both level 61 at the time. Ahaha, and I also remember defeating Dipple when I was level 55 and he was level 60. If I knew how good his gear was beforehand, I would have never dueled him. But thanks to better potions I didn't have to worry :p

Well now Power Archers are good fast gainers (lvl's) Neo-rogue is slower leveling. Yet just now, I was killing donkeys, earlier with my Squire whom has Super defence and kills them well, can even AOE, but the Neo-rogue lower armor both as class and cost +?/ap etc. both have great weapons.
The short of it is the Neo is killing quicker at lest at 57 (both), and taking less damage total gives more damage.
rogue is good with defense and dodge and low on attack and scout is high on pow and low on defense
Again on the other hand My squire has killed some archers, and the neo has kill no Archers. Archers have super mass killing range weapons and can un-cloak any Neo-rogue, so they rule mid lvl 45-60+ at lest. Yet they are proned to be mobed (yes have a 56 Aco whom spends as much or close to healing scouts as he does knights).
Oh the Aco hates Rogue/Neo's they run a way, and invisable, and he dies from the mob they left.
Well that my three takes on the two hope it helps

hmmm so all this deals with opinion who you choose is best i see.Actully i agree seeing sakura or nixxie the archers fight does seem better than a rogue but being an assassin to ranger now thats a battle to actully get real info on.But for now since rogue is farther away ill go on for rogue it seems more fun.i like assassin its like wolverine from marvel.I just have to wonder on shadow master to cause ranger is last class and so is shadow master so it should be better to get info on the last class pvp battle.

ankle binding sux, you need to have enough def/dodge to be able to wait till ankle binding wears off, then you can get into close combat.
the thing is that 1V1 PvPis totally different from CoD. in CoD there will be a clump of scouts/achers close together. as aparty they can dish out massive amounts of damage to anything in range. and you can't even invis to escape.
so if the neos/rogues/assasins come at them one at a time they will just be picked off one at a time. maybe the only chance would be to move as a tight group. hmm, we'd need a lot of cannon fodder.
