Yeah I used this today on someone because of being rude to an other person. So he gave it me back lol. I think people are using this rep system incorrect. What are your opinions?

I don't care much about rep either but someone did bad rep me because he claimed I attacked his English when I asked for a translation of his post which I could not decipher. :p

The rep system is in place to establish and identify those who are trusted and proven to be helpful and positive influences on the forums. Yes, we CLs and the OutSpark admins do pay attention to these. There are those who argue it is worthless – they are fully entitled to their opinion. :)

Reversely, those with - rep have it for a reason as well.

If you have evidence of someone abusing the rep system, either spam + or - repping, please let a CL or CSR know. If you - rep someone you may get - rep back... that's life and please believe me, I am talking from experience on this.

However, if you - rep someone and they AND their friends - rep you in retaliation, please report that.

The reasen is rather obvious after all you write about me to, I just see this thread as another way to bash me, and honestly do as you will I say the neg rep was given for a right reasen, being rude to me.

Also yup I was the one on angel, cause I took that statement offensively.

The OP didn't mention any names but, rather, asked a question concerning the rep system. I would have preferred it if names were kept out of this as to avoid a flame war... I'll have to close this thread down now to prevent the potential...
