So, I've been going over a lot of forum posts, mostly in the Fan Art section, when I realized something: Why aren't I a respected member of the community as well? So, the answer came immediately when I saw just how many things people do to earn their place in the community. Only, a lot of it remains obscure. Sure, FataLace's superb magazine project (one example), and all the Outspark staff doing their jobs fantastically is apparent, among other things, and well described. Other instances, like "Player of the Month", are a bit lost to me. Either I haven't been to the right forum yet, or it's been removed, or something else entirely. How does one become Player of the Month? How does one become editor of the Fiesta Magazine? Or a community leader? These questions burn in my mind and soul, and never have I wanted to be part of anything as much as I want to be part of Fiesta. So, how do I become famous here? How can I be of service to this community? My first attempt to answer this question will be to make signatures. My personal project begins now. Along with that, I've decided to write a story based off of my adventures within the game. I hope, that in time, my efforts will be recognized, and I can finally say that I am part of this world.

You are a great writer, I can see that. Just focus on your strengths. Yosei has her helpfulness, Fatal has spark and genuine creativity, Serric has his boyish good looks.

Wow, you are a beautiful writer. Maybe submit some of your adventures or whatever is Fiesta related to the magazine?

I still don't know alot of people on here, and really as your level in-game increases, and you party with more people, then you will become more well-known. If you stop and stand around in eldy and chat to people, you will soon get a name for yourself that way too.

Become one with the forums! Mostly just 'hardcore' players, or those interested in just as you describe, use this regularly. So make quality posts that stand out from the rest to become recognised.

Also, as far as I can tell, certain people who are 'famous' have been here a long time, since the original beta testing even. So don't feel discouraged. You will get there! ^^

LMAO kalone!! ROFL.

erm, you just have to genuinely love fiesta and its community, one way or another I'm sure you'll be of help to anyone =D

though don't ask me, I'm not in the top people list either, but just enjoy it, help as much people as you can =D

Wow, thank you all for such wonderful (and immediate) responses! It fills with both joy and courage, and a strengthened resolve to show you all, and the world, the marvels of Fiesta! The best news yet is that I've been given ideas, so thanks to you, I'll now be trying to submit my stories to the magazine. As for my artwork, it'll be slow for a while until I can get my equipment back, so my signatures will have to wait. If you want to get a better feel for what I can do, visit my DeviantArt. http://masterblade.deviantart.com/ I'd love to hear your comments!

Thanks for the kind words on the magazine! i'm glad that i have you among the readership.

How does one become the Editor-In-Chief of Fiesta Magazine? By lining SKiNG's pockets with Gems upon Gems of currency of course! shaking your booty a lil bit doesn't hurt either =)

but in actuality, the Fiesta Magazine concept was borne from my own deranged gray matter. so when you come up with the idea, throw out some teasers, beg for support, and see it all come to fruition, you can install any kind of regime you want!

all i can say is, keep contributing. whether it's helping players overcome problems/bugs, creating great fan art, spinning wonderful fanfics, or just making the players think a bit.. it all helps and makes this community great!

Basically, all those people who have participated in these events have earned it through various ways. They all do their best in pitching in to help out the community, each in their own, unique way, without expecting rewards, reputation, or recognition. They all strive to create a friendly, helpful environment where everyone feels accepted. They help solve problems and keep the Community going. It's these upstanding members of the Community that are recognized by the other Users. They are the ones who have contributed the most to the Forums, and therefore are acknowledged by the rest of us.

Take CL's, for example. They are normal players, but because of their utter dedication to help make the Forums better, they have been given an elevated status for their hard work. Thinking up creative new things on how to help the Community, while still keeping the justice, is basically what they do.

How's that for a speech?

All of the above posters have the idea pretty spot on. Be a good member of this community, and put it before yourself. When you see something that needs attention, fill that need. Let your talents and creativity shine, and soon people will notice you, and you will be just as popular as anyone else on the forums. :D

I pretty much forced myself into the community when bored. I started a fanfic, started making siggies for people and just recently joined with the magazine. I also made a few guides (I should probably update that one now).

It isn't too hard to become involved, start off with becoming active and it starts happening without you noticing.

[[feels awkward to be so involved when I don't play the game anymore =/]]

This is truly the best support I have ever experienced! The pressure is mounting, and now my presence is made clear in the eyes of so many hard-working and dedicated people... No choice now but to deliver! Thank you all so much! Here's what we can expect from me within the next two weeks:
1) First three episodes of my Fiesta story. I make them short but sweet, so there will be many episodes. A forewarning, the story may change a few subtle things about the world of Isya in order to maintain a logical flow, but nothing so major that it's unrecognizable. It will also have a style influenced by Tom Clancy,so expect some grittiness.
2) A request to write an article for the magazine. Please, may I, FataLace?
3) Some brainstorming for an Official Fiesta Signature Committee. First name on the list of people to bounce ideas off of is bladetsukasa (of course, if you're interested), but I welcome all available artists! Please use emails so as to not impede on the site's memory storage. My email is azuma_ninja02@yahoo.com.
Hmm. Not a bad start. Seems like a proper first step to me. Wish me luck, 'cause it'll a busy (or maybe a busier) two weeks!

Sure, email me something... humor is always appreciated. i can't guarantee it'll appear in the magazine this month or at all, but i'll read it thoroughly and consider it. (two "L"s in my name btw)

looking forward to your submission

Oops! "FatalLace". I'll work on the spelling. Sorry about that! You can expect my pre-write around the 20th, and of course, humor is my main weapon here!

Alright, right off the bat, I got to work on my fanfiction, dubbed (for the time being) "Fiesta!: Epic Chronicles". I'm proud to say that I'm already 2/3 of the way to completing my self-established quota of the first 3 episodes. Expect to have my writings by the 18th. Hopefully, I'll have them proof-read before hand, and tested for maximum enjoyment, although, I'm a little short on people who can do such a thing. I'll try to refine on my own as much as I can, but it's difficult not have a biased opinion of my own work. If anyone is interested and willing, I would like some volunteers for proof-reading. I would greatly appreciate it! Again, thanks for your support!

Sounds awsome. With all your determination to working hard and contribute all this great stuff to the community, you'll become a respected member in no time :) .

And as for your writing, I would love to proof-read your writing, if you would like.

Lol, Tom Clancy huh? Then you must mean grittiness in the way Clancy will describe the exact way a terrorist's head splits open from a bullet wound for about half a page.

Not only that, but also the way he superanalyzes the complexity of his world setting! It fits perfectly for a particular character's mentality.

if you are looking for proofreaders, i would be glad to help you.

It seems Yahoo is having some difficulties. I can't access the site, nor my email through a direct link. I wonder if anyone else is having this problem? Hopefully, it will be repaired before my deadline, other wise, I'll have to PM my proofreaders the text. I'd like to avoid hampering the bandwidth with unnecessary messaging, though.

Hmmm...well, in your own way, you are a part of the great community that is Fiesta. You don't need to have your own section to prove it at all! Just the little things you do affect the people here, and we really do appreciate it.

Looking forward to read your story in the magazine. :D

At least someone noticed. o.0 :p

As the others have said, the key to being a respected member of this, or any community, is to be yourself, enjoy your time here and give others a reason to enjoy themselves as well.

If you follow those guidelines you'll find you are more respected and admired than you had first believed. :)

I love you guys. All of you. Now, why can't I find any of you in the game?:D Really, all this was intended for me to compliment others and set some goals. Recently, I had decided to make a major move. I'm leaving my home behind, and I'm done with school for a while. I felt that if I don't keep busy, I will lose my writing and drawing skills, and fall into a dull routine of work and sleep. This community gives me something to strive for, a satisfaction so profound, it makes all my troubles quail and vanish. It's not so much that I want to be famous, but to be part of the names people would refer to when they think of Fiesta.:D

I'm intrigued by this siggy committee thing - are you suggesting a group of people that will be fulfilling siggy requests?

And good luck with your epic fanfic, I'm updating mine tonight hopefully ^^.

I am indeed! I've already got a few ideas on paper for my starting line-up of siggies. Now, I just need a scanner...
I'll go read your fanfic right now! I'll bet it's tasty.
