I can't chat! Help!

Is something wrong with my client? I hit enter and nothing happens. Am I missing something?

Check your shortcut configuration if "chat" is still assigned to your "enter" key.

You might be lagging. Press enter and wait a little bit. I know when I'm lagging, and I press enter, it doesn't change right away.

You can also try going into the options for video and I believe there is a selection you can check mark called 'reset interface' or something like that. Checking it sets your interface back to the default settings it is at when you first join the game as a new character. You can then uncheck it and move all your windows and such back to the way you like them. This will only fix the problem if the reason you can't see the chat bar is because you moved it out of view or something like that. Let us know if any of our advice helped. :D

I appreciate the help, but none of these worked...I can't figure it out haha.

edit: I can talk by pressing the general chat button, just not enter...

Is the chatbox completely gone? If it is, go to esc> game settings> reset interface.
