I know Xtrap fails to do alot of things. It is really easy to hack(has to be since there are still spammers)

Have you ever thought of switching to gameguard. GameGuard has better reviews. Easier to use. Harder to hack.

If this is meant to be directed to the Staff, then might I suggest you PM one of them directly?
You may actually get feedback from them that way rather than posting on the forums XD.

From a post I read a few months ago, on one of SKinG's downed server threads, it was mentioned that we don't have the full X-trap. So it's not complete and still may have a few updates to go through.

i didn't PM them because i thought it would be easier to have them just look at this thread. Instead of them all having to read their pm's then responding to my pms.

Xtrap is coded into the game. It isn't a third party program. Changing anti-hack programs would be a huge overhaul of the game code.

After checking on the internet, I found that GamaGuard also have its flaw. I don't know wich is better between Xtrap / GameGuard / Xfire or whataver, but none are perfect, and all are allready bypassed.

And here I thought this would be a thread asking if they will ever make compatibility in XTRAP for Linux systems so that they can run native without *sketchy* emulation that in some games can get you banned as a suspect hack.

I want to go to Linux because I am tired of Microsoft's games, but can't because I have games like this that won't run on it. <_<

no offense, but every game with gameguard I played has been hacked, also I think thats the reasen they dont have it, cause in a company some of them worked before they used it, and those games whrehacked constantly.
I wouldnt say gamegaurd is better at all, people can easily hack it these days cause in those games with it you see moe and more hackers.

AlsoXfire isnt anti hack programm, its a 3rd party chat and screenshot programm.

Well if we dont have the full Xtrap, then they shouldnt be applying it.

Thats like if Norton applied a half-done update to their anti-virus software. I bet you if someone got a virus with half-done software updates from Norton, theyd sue Norton in a heartbeat. Just an example.

Xtrap.. in my opinion.. SUCKS.
There are just about as many spammers, bots, and devils in the game as before. Only now it serves to thwart me. Where before I could deal with a lag, a lag for more than 5 seconds now means that Xtrap is going to log me out for no apparent reason.
For example, Just today Xtrap:
-Blocked me from entering Uruga from the SEG gate
-Kicked me out of the Abyss while I shroomed
-Kicked me out of the MD KQ while I was loading the map
-Made me lag for 10 minutes in FOM before finally kicking me out
-Kicked me out while I was training in Uruga on J.Archons (luckily a cleric healed my still standing body until I returned)

I also notice that hen Xtrap kills someone, THEY STAY LOGGED IN. They stand there, out in the open, for a good 30 seconds, or until they try to log back in. My computer takes about 1 minute to close everything and recover from the sudden shutdown due to Xtrap. By then: Im usually dead. 15k down the drain. Nice.

Yes it is Xtrap.

I know this because BEFORE Xtrap I never got booted out. My lag was actually LESS than it is now. When they first brought back Xtrap, I always got the "Xtrap Error Code:" message during those I listed above.

Since they 'Updated' Xtrap, it no longer shows these messages, but instead says somethign along the lines of "Oops, Fiesta has encountered a problem and must close. Sorry for the inconvenience"

INCONVENIENCE?! WHAT inconvenience?! Oh you mean me standing in Uruga with Orcs, DYING, losing 14k because some dumb not-working spam-program suddenly thinks that when I HEAL myself that Im trying to hack the game? ***

(Also: if you dont load a map fast enough, Xtrap seems to think that youre hacking. ***, maybe youre uh.. LAGGING. Or LOADING.. omg)

But you also regain it fast because you are higher lvl D:

And if its 1% then my eyes deceive me. I swear to gods 14k lost SURE looks like 1/4 a circle to me (which then is more like 2%). x.x

Either way, Im tired of Xtrap making my life harder.

They do sometimes, if they have the time. But the problem is that they just make new accounts and come right back. There is no permanent solution to getting rid of them yet. Hence why they are working towards a solution to get rid of them.
