Well I am at work again and as I have very little to do I've decided to try and help anyone with questions, I'll try to the best of my ability to answer any and all questions you may have about the game. So instead of posting a new thread for one question just post it here and i'll help ya out ^.^

Hi, here's a probably dumb one for ya: When people suggest, for example, putting 25 points into spr for a fighter, does that mean add spr points until your *total* spr = 25, or does it mean actually adding your first 25 points into spr? I'm guessing it means putting points into nothing but spr up to lvl 25, is that right? So your total would be higher than 25, obviously... right?

Not a dumb question at all. What they mean is for your total to get to 25 does not necessarily mean adding them first to Spr. the reason for this is that a total of 25 spr points will give you the 5% crit bonus everyone wants, but its not really something you have to worry about till later my suggestion is if you dont have the access to Spark cash put your first 15 into Spr the rest str then save your stat reset scroll from your 20 quest till you feel comfortable taking it off of your other stat and putting the points back into Spr i.e your equips are good enough to sustain the loss of 10 points for End or Str. Hope this Helps.

Not a dumb question...

You should be able to see the two separate numbers next to SPR. For example, something like 20 (+1). The number INSIDE the parenthesis with the "+" sign should be 25 for a common hybrid build. The number outside the parenthesis can be anything. Remember, the main reason for adding 25 SPR is for higher chance to get critical hit. Only the number INSIDE the parenthesis determines this chance.

Somewhat, it seems like I'm using too much of my math knowledge... XD

There has been a lot of debates as to what type of build you should focus on Hybrid builds are versatile but they do tend to be very unnapealing to the large AoE pty's you will encounter later on in the game. For example if you split your stats between end and str it will make it so that you can do both reasonably well but you will be unable to match any other fighter with a pure build, for example at lvl 50+ the fastest way to level is in Large AoE ptys however if it was my pty i would prefer to have someone who can tank larger groups i.e full end. Even if you tend to solo more often you may need higher def or expensive gear. The least expensive build for any fighter is the full end build but again that is my recommendation, I personnally am a DD build and atm I can tank everything in MD KQ but i have to spend innordinate ammounts of silver in green End gear and enhancement for said gear to make up for lack of def.
In summary Full DD if you have the money for a full set of +9 gears Full end if You dont and wish to be more appealing to High level AoE and KQ...hope this helps

Well, this isn't entirely true. I tell you right now, back when I actually had a 50+ fighter, I had no +9 gear, weak green items (except pants) and had the lowest HP at level 51 as a fighter that I'd seen. It all really comes down to how you grind. You don't need expensive gears to tank or to solo, just know what you're doing.

I agree I'm just showing 2 examples based on my experience since I also started out as a hybrid build, I cant really answer a question if i try and give all the innumerable examples of ppls playin style :P I would need weeks but yesh I'm just saying that I personally spend a lot of time and effort on enhancing my gears...I'm taknig in to account PvP (<-thats the reason i do +9 so I can whoop everyones but ^.^) however i failed to mention since i was trying to focus on his needs as far as leveling goes. whoops :)
