Guild wars outside interference

too many times have i heard of complaints about outside help from players either helping a guild to win when they don't belong to that guild or clerics who are not in a guild


guild wars are for warring guilds only and no player shuold interfere with a war they are not in. this is players who are not in guilds. the guild wars are only for guilds at war no-one else. i think any player not in a guild but helping a guild should be reported and maybe have their account suspended under new rules and regulations to make these affairs fair and meaningful to players enjoyment and experience.


a suspension of an account may help this.


a guild leader board can not hold accurate information if there is outside interference and so would be no point in having guild wars. not only that but u cannot attack a player for outside interference and can make a fighter impossible to kill due to this from outsider clerics who may spam heal them. fir this i am calling for support to make these wars fair and unbiased in every way so we may see more accurate information.

i totally agree i think they should do it in the arena and let the other players that want to watch sit in the stands to gaurd from ppl healing or helping that arnt in the guild any 1 agree

As much as I hate it when I see clerics healing members in a guild war, I think that they should not have any account susspention but at least have it to were that person is now free to be killed as well. I've played WoW and when I heal my fellow allience members I am what they called tagged and able to be killed freely by the horde who were attacking them. Thats what I think they should do if they keep it to were you can heal people durring guild wars.

if making an outsider a target doewsn't stop outside interference and extreme and nothing else works the extreme measures amy only be the way. suspension would serve as a warning., and if everyone knew what would happen if you interferred then that would only be that players fault as they would have recieved a fair chance to stop. it wud b up to them then to take the chance

In a real war there is a such thing as "friendlies" bka allies right? so...Every guild has allies and friendlies...Your insane if you think im gonn GW a guild with lvl 40's and (for example) my guild has like lvl 35's to 40's w/ ppl that are willing to aid us in battle to see us through....Such as clerics...I would understand if you recruited like fighters or somethin but come on...ITS WAR....I'd like to see*ANYONE win*a war of any sort*alone...Allies and Friendlies ppl...Allies and Friendlies...


The only way they can stop players from gettin Pissed about this prollem...Make interferers attackable or fix that shiii.ttt.....Oh wait you cant... cuz your able to heal anyone as you run around randomly...I suggest more players learn about actual war before losing to much of the fantasy touch as well as the sense of "reality" we get from such aspects of the game...Such clerics being able to help....

Is there a specific cleric ur talking about? That last guild war before all the characters were deleted really didn't matter anymore. if you guys are getting mad 'cause some cleric was healing random in-guild ppl, no matter which guild, then maybe you should look at it this way. It was just for fun, because EVERY character was deleted in an hour, it really didn't matter if one or two clerics were healing random ppl. It won't happen again, at least from me in Open Beta or in the release. Or were there more clerics doing this?

You have forgotten to consider the allies (sp) of the people you may be GWing. Also, there is friends of people in the GW they may want to protect.


Lastly, also consider the people being GWed who don't want to even be in said GW. I've seen plenty of times where people who start a GW with a guild end up killing people who are merchants or mushrooms.


In fact I watched a bunch of level 25+ people in a guild gank the hell out of a bunch of people in a guild under level 10. Way to go in showing your 'strength' in that guild war. :P


So complaining about outside interference isn't the ONLY issue at large with GWs period.

It makes more sense to have it in an arena and any spectators should have their skills temporaraly suspended. Guild wars is a brilliant idea and i enjoy watching them.

I hate open area guild fights, like in the center of elderine, cause of the lag. But I do enjoy watching guild wars too.

If a non-guild cleric is helping out in a guild war, just ask them politely not to. When I'm playing on my cleric I always have a soft spot for archers (because I know how quickly they go through pots and stones) escpecially if they are against another cleric but if they asked me not to help I would understand.

I think dissabling non-guild clerics ability to heal warring guild members is the best way to prevent interference. Suspending accounts is way to harsh.

How fair is a bunch of people ganging up on just one person? If the person looks to be in a very bad shape, I'll heal him. But it is true that it is infuriating to be warring a person who keeps getting healed.

If this sort of behavior is not to be allowed, have it programmed that healing people who are warring is not possible. Suspending is way too harsh.
