Ok... i haven't played this game in well... forever. I played for a month in open beta, i dunno if it's even still in OB but stopped and thought about this game again. And don't say stalking a Fighter in Uruga is the best way. It is probably for lower levels but well.. you know later it's like.. repetitive. It's like soloing with stalkrs.
I stopped due to 1 reason, exp grinding is a pain and money is a big issue. I know you can boss hunt and stuff but i mean, i wanna level T_T Hey yeah quests are great but... those are a 1 time thing. Repeatable quests are useless, unless you just want those items.
Now most of the time the parties i've been in are like... "Hey lets scatter around and stay in the area and kill random monsters *smiley face*" Other times it would be a Fighter getting the aggro but it's still like 1vs1 with a Cleric stalking him/her and a Mage providing dps. I got no problem with those methods... but it's still somewhat slow.
Now the only way i can see exp grinding the fastest way possible is mobbing, like most games. But wow these monsters hit pretty hard, they have more hp than you and some are hitting 100s.. ouch. This is a big problem so i'm not 100% on this. I haven't tested it because a lot of people said "That's crazy"
So what i planned to do was have a team of mostly mages, a Fighter, and a Cleric or 2. I think the max is 5 right? I don't remember. 1 is a Fighter for tanking, of course. 1 is a Cleric to heal the Tank. You can have another Cleric coz i dunno how fast the Tank could die. The rest mages. Maybe an archer but their AoE as i can remember is weak, and i think it's a hefty timer to use it again. You can only do this i think at 25, coz that's when the mage gets his/her first AoE.
Basically, the Tank pulls, stands there, uses his/her aggro skill; Clerics supress the Tank with healing; Mages stand in the middle of the mob and keep casting their AoE.
If this works already, Great! I think i'll try this game again. If it doesn't, It'll be great if some people would like to help me try this. Though i have to level again to i guess, 20 coz i only have like 1 lvl 2 fighter in the server. The server is Apoline i believe coz that's where i got like a buncha items.
