Party Matching Button

Is the party matching button by the minimap for only party matching? Or can I post that I am selling/buying, searching for a guild, etc.

You can post anything from "lvl5 lfp" to "i like pie!" And beyond. Basically, it's a little like the forums here.

People rarely check them since it is turned off if they dont have anything in the list and that makes it almost invincible.

The feature was added to cut down on the "Looking for Party" shouts heard all over the maps, and gave people who were looking for a party for something, their own private channel.
Though no one really uses it for that purpose, and people buying and selling seemed to have figured out that they can get through to anyone on any map who looks at it.
I think it should be revamped into sort of a trade channel, since that's what it's primarily used for now.
