Ore grathering bug

I have been gathering or mining ore from copper to silver and even gold and no matter what, i get just 1 ore each pick up. Even the monster drop i just get 1 ore. Why cant we pick up more ore then 1 each time it drop.
This might be an error or by design. I just wanted to let you know abut this.

Because each ore only has 1 ore in it...........

I know we just get 1 each ore but when we pick up herb or mushroom we get 1-3 each time.
I was thinking this is a remaining error from way back during the xmas drop rate problem.

nope its always been that way as far as i know herbs aren't worth much ores are but i never have problems colelcting i get lq mq hq and of course the jewels everynow and then and some times all at once so works for me
