Targon. He is only in his 60's now but at lvl 50 he could get up to 7k hp and 1.8k def. And i am one to take aggro. I never got hit with him tanking. SO for me he is the best. AriesMajor, Frank, Pichulon,Ravencries are the other greats for me.

thats impossible..... no way he can have 1.7 without charms at 5x i have max end gear on all my equips and +9 5x dont add same def as +9 7x gear... theres a whole 100-200def difference in max end 5x +9 gear and max end 7x gear +9

but still, 2 equally skilled tanks, one 55 and one 78, lvl 78 using no CS and lvl 59 using CS, having same def and lvl 5x having more hp, no lvl limited places to grind... are you gonna take the 79 or the 5x who's gonna sap less exp if ur grind crazy... i'm jus sayin >.>

150% and 120% extenders are stackable

One reason I quit playing is that the game takes only a little skill and a lotta button-bashing. Getting to be 'great' though without CS is almost impossible :/

CS or NOT proof enough that the big majority of tanks are below average is the fact that so many people complain about mock needing to be more powerful, if tanks would know how to tank there wouldn't be that many complaints about lost aggro.

In order to stand out as being an above average player in your class it takes much more than just bashing out a few buttons in random order while spaming mock and devastate whenever they are available (which most tanks do in aoe).

In my experience so far there's only a few end fighters that are worth being called tanker warrior (mainly because they lose aggro a lot).

Best FULL END tanker on server is Sheya with no competition there.
Than one of the best tankers in means of knowing his str and weakness was Falcomist.

On the other hand i still believe that with the options available right now a str tanker will outmatch the purpose of an end fighter for being much more capable of holding aggro while having it easy on staying alive.

lol one thing i do on my fighter. I rarely lose aggro with people around my lvl because everytime mock is done on CD i use it. I devastate everytime CD is done. I dunno. And i dont' find Pure ends best tankers. (Mage monsters kill them).

the only way not to lose aggro is not to devastate right away after mock.... it depends on the mobs the you got around you. Sometimes when i grind, I mock then wait for like seconds till the cooldown of mock is halfway. I then devastate... so after the stun is gone... i can mock again :D

base on TR tanking, normally there would be 2 mages and a cleric and a tank and sometimes archers.
I hate mages that are:
slow
distracted
scared of dying
doesn't spam skill
relies on the other mage
talks while were killing

I like clerics that are
fast
can cut animation
and can heal multiple people without a sense of hesitation
talks at the right time >.>

Yes i have a reason as to why im so picky, for example
if we have 2 mages and one is good and the other is not that good
As i am and end tanker, i cant hold aggro for long so i rely on my mages to kill fast
So what do you think will happen to the good mage if the other one sucks? yeah they die. That also tends to lead into people thinking that the cleric is bad or the tank, but infact its the mage.

So yeah i am picky but Im only doing it because i dont want ppl dying in my party.

I'm going to agree with Leona on what he said about it takes more than just pressing mock and devastate when possible.

The most important thing as a "mobber" (that's what i'm gonna call it), is to be able to lead the party well. As mobbing goes, it takes brains to do a clean aggro on all monsters. When you devastate, you want to make sure you dev all the monsters and not leave a few.

Also I believe that an efficient tanker can speed up the grinding process. Leave the looting to the others, and while the team mates are looting and chasing you, you can use some spare time to be mobbing more while they catch up so that they can start nuking right away when they get there.

Tankers need to have a sense of responsibility that every bit of damage your party is taking means that there's something that you're not doing right holding aggro. But for some players, it can't be helped since some mages do godly damage... which means that the monsters should die as soon as they turn aggro on someone else... I'm a warrior, meaning that I haven't seen other tankers tanking in first hand... cuz there is no need to have 2 warriors in same party lol.
