I've only been in Fiesta for a short while but I get tired of people asking me how to do this, especially when I get the chat screen mixed up with battle and die, only to see that I just type somebody "1234511111122-=" instead of using my hotkeyed attacks. This guide is for Windows Vista and XP Users. Please sticky this topic for new gamers that want to take photos of the game like myself, as the graphics and locales are amazing.
Windows XP Users:
In order to take a screenshot image of you playing Fiesta, you have to use the PRINT SCREEN option. It's different for all computers, so locate the button on your keyboard labeled PRINT SCREEN. It may be abbreviated like mine is, and say Prt Sc, which literally means the same thing. You have also have to press it in conjunction with another key, like the Fn (FUNCTION) key, the Alt (ALTERNATE) key, the Shift key or the Ctrl key, according to your computer's setup. Anyway, time your shot and take the photo, and after you take the screenshot it is automatically sent to the clipboard.
From this point, you need to open your Windows XP Paint program, which should be located in your Accessories tab from the Windows Start Button is you're using XP or a later OS. Open it, and select the Edit option from the menu and select Paste. This will paste the contents of the clipboard (your screenshot) into a picture image so you can save it as a photo or picture in whatever format you desire (JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, etc).
If it doesn't paste this way, then you haven't copied your photos correctly to the clipboard. The clipboard viewer is still on Windows XP based computers, and the path to get to it is C:> WINDOWS> system32> clipbrd.exe. The best thing to do is create a shortcut to it on your desktop if you plan to take a lot of screenshots of things on the internet that you cannot normally save as an image. You can also hit Start> Run> and type in clipbrd.exe to run the program on XP based computers. Be warned that you only take one screenshot at a time, as the clipboard erases the old contents everytime you press print screen. To combat this, save clipboard files as a *.CLP file and you will be able to come back to the screenshot later and edit and paste it when you want to. Just remember the steps above to do it. Alternatively, you can click the HELP option on the clipboard viewer program window, but nobody ever does that....
Windows Vista Users:
Vista did away with this, so you have to use the Snipping Tool. For Vista users you can just type "Snipping Tool" in the search bar in the windows menu. The first time you run it, it will ask if you want to add it to your quick launch bar. I selected yes, keeping in mind it is always easier to remove something from it than to add to it. After that, you just paste it in the paint or photo application the same way you would on an XP based OS.
