Really? Thats the only other way! I have seen them in shops but not often...Mining is just soo boring and time wasting (in the real world)

Or you could sit by a gate in the mines and shout that you are buying.

yes i have since thought of that lol. how much is a good price? to me it seems economically logical to be around =30-50c? However, emotional factor would make me demand, like a silver! Hey thats why they pay miners so much in the real world! Anyway any thoughts on price?

No one really sells copper ore because no one really BUYS it. Low quality is worth 10c, normal ore is worth 40c, and high is worth 100c

I dont really understand why people wouldnt rather buy it than mine it. Using production skills you can make stuff out of copper that makes it worth much than 10c, for eg, I buy dusts for 5c each, they get turned into elrue, elrue into lix (iv not got xir yet). To make three elrue it costs me 135c. I sell lix for a silver, so i can pay up to 288c for a low quality copper and i will still profit 1c from the whole thing!

At 10c I'm profiting 835 on a 1s item, If i mined Id profit 865, but i could have done so much more buying and selling in the time it takes to mine and profited more than that its not worth it. I hope that made sense, as my reasoning as to why copper is better bought imo.

and I propose noone really SELLS their copper, as opposed to noone buys copper. I would totally buy copper but sell it? no

btw the whole sit outside a mine thing and try buying off people aint workin, which i kind of expected, people dont mine to sell it to npcs or anyone else. or do they? i wouldnt but maybe some see it as a reliable income :O Is it unheard of?

I've seen creative types set up buying shops in the mine. This has the advantage of allowing you to pursue this activity while AFK and you can specify your types and price. Possible downside is there is no bartering with this set-up, so choose your price carefully.:rolleyes:

Yeah I mean I'v earnt a decent amount of money, and havent lifted a finger, only for check ups. Basically just buy the raw materials you need from other people, then use your mad skillz to change it into something alot more expensive ie buy dust/copper/topaz of others-->elrue-->lix-->xir sell for tonnes more!
