I've searched the entirety of the Forest of Mist,*and I still can't find the little ...things.

Those map help a lot. So according to the map, they'd be mainly located on the far left island formation and also in the top portion of the middle island.

Check out the area west of the center island on that map. I believe they should be mostly over there. There's even some on the middle island, but its been a while.

For when game starts - Theres a place called "Forest Of Mist" Enter there through the sandy beach area, and you will see a bunch of trees. Head north from there and ull see a bunch of island-areas with bridges. They spawn there in LOW NUMBERS. about 1-3 spawn every 10-20 mins and get killed pretty quick by people going to elderine =/
