View Full Version : Game imbalances

I have noticed a few imbalances in the game. The first one is that I would love to purchase the Iron suitcase so that I can grind until my fingertips bruise. Only problem is that there are no permanent Storage Compartments or Store inventory so I will end up filling up all of my newfound Iron suitcase slots with leftover storage books.
Will Outspark offer permanent Storage or Store inventory? This would fix an imbalance for all of those that purchased the Iron Suitcase.

A second imbalance seems to be in the economy of Potions. Tier 1 potions can be manufactured for a fair price and a profit but Tier 2 and 3 Potions that use Sign of Trace cannot be produced at a price competitive with just finding drops and selling them. This produces an imbalance in Tender and Chewy meats and also the Tier 2 & 3 Fruits and crystals. Tier 2 and 3 Potions can be produced but the cost to purchase stock and manufacture is too high to make a profit. You will notice that almost nobody is purchasing Potion materials at the Tier 2 and 3 levels.

Is there anyone that can comment on the stone market? IT seems that that market has dwindled also. I do not see nearly as many vendors purchasing Stone material as there was just a month ago. I heard complaints about profitability or the lack of profitability.

I do not know the game engine so I don't know if this is possible, but by increasing, decreasing the availablilty of materials it should stimulate the economy and make the marketplace much more active across all the markets. Increase the amount of Sign of trace dropped in the field and it lowers the market price, which in turn makes it more inviting to produce and sell potions. This will loosen the other markets (Scroll and Stone) to be less competitive so we won't see 2 silver pricing on HQ Dogtooth that sells at the NPC for 200 copper.

Being a Game that is still evolving, I thought that a few comments from the field may be helpful and I am certainly not a college educated economist but after many years of running a retail business and even more years of Spending Money.. I brought to you some of my thoughts.

The stone market has dwindled because of all the ******* (intentionally blocked) who have been selling elrue for 100+c, and xir for 20s (that guy was an idiot).

It's just cheaper to make your own, or buy from an NPC.

Potions:
Ironic that hp and sp stones are much cheaper with more hp/sp that T3 potion can give you. The potion drop rate is pretty high too.

Stone:
T3, Many high lv player quited and the demand is low. KQ and PVP zone give many T3 stone. So no one will buy T3 stone from others.

So far, only scroll production skill is useful because T3 scroll can sell at good price and the demand is still good. Remember that no mob drops scroll. It is hard to get the scroll materials, so the profit of making scroll is quite high.
