Heya there. As obviously I'm back to the game, there are some things I feel like obligated to say. (So this is going to be my first speech-like post)
When I left, I felt bitter about the game, the community and everything else happening around. Now I come back and I'm reading many complains on forums about the people in SoS. Some say that it's not like the old times anymore... when everything was good, the sun was brighter and grass was greener.
However, (after a glimpse of realization) I think we're still doing fine. Just looking at the forums, there are still many weird or annoyingly repetitive threads and questions (but we have lost the ragnarok ones) and thrakx (supern00B) is still being mean to people (aka noobs). Trents is still upset about the cash shop (and rightfully so) and the notices are still there and still making people go insane.
I log in the game and I see not much has changed there as well. Items are quite overpriced, BAMF is still owning the PvPs, Ppogri still is annoyed about that, notFire (aka Fireslinger in the past) still sits in one of the corners of Essene and I still can't find my way around the maps...
What I did not expect (or simply had forgotten) was that I will meet new and nice people and many old players (and some of them have even missed me :D) and that I will have (so far) even more fun than before.
So what I'm trying to say... Sure, the community has changed and there are loads of aspects those bring us down. But I also think that there have appeared many new and positive things and as long as people are still having fun (and despite many complains, they are) we're all doing pretty fine.
Sure you may disagree but that's my opinion and anyway... I have deserved one speech-like post on my own. :D
