Who are we, and what do we want to be?



We are a gathering of players who share the same goals in the game. We are a casual yet enthusiastic PvE/PvP guild. Basically this means that we do not adhere to a strict hardcore grind 24/7 schedule. We do not force people to grind and keep up with the pace of the high levels. We are a group of players that have prior commitments in our lives but still wish to progress in game. This is a guild that allows greater flexibility for those who work or attend school full time, while still allowing ourselves to experience all the content of SoS.



We still want to be able to compete and have fun with various events and succeed, to create teams of individuals who can focus in working together in order to accomplish our short term and long term goals, whether it may be in defeating in-game bosses, GvGs, PvPs, and other events that may be implemented in the near future. We want to establish a good solid foundation that will be directed by officers with a pro-active nature, ensuring the longetivity of the guild.



Ashguard Sect is not looking for the "glory hounds" of Secret of the Solstice. We do not feel the need at all to prove anything to anyone with "uber" equips and pvp wins. That is not our style. We do not roX0r N00bz pwN7 zoMg *** BBQ!



Our members play an important role in the guild, because they make up the core of Ashguard Sect, not the officers nor the leader. Thus, we want to make sure that we will not turn into a guild with a bunch of knobjockeys who can't speak English without inserting random numbers and capitalizing every second vowel. We are looking for motivated, responsible and active players, who would want to help build this guild from its roots.






We hope this will help prospective members determine if they will be a good fit or not. This guild charter was deemed necessary because it's important that we do not just go recruiting anyone and everyone since we are trying to build a functional and cohesive guild.

Hey guys, here goes my late reply (just woke up). Ppogri* is so active about the guild that he already did everything while I was sleeping, so all I can say is: "yeah, what he said."

Haha okay kidding aside, but yeah you all know I wont be around much because of my exams, so thanks popo for handling stuff while I was studying. Plans for Ashguard Sect started since closed beta, and hopefully old and new players alike who are responsible and motivated would gather and work together in building the guild we want to become.

we dont officially have lvl restrictions,..however we do want ppl who we can team with, so there may be some what of a restriction depending on what class you are. other then that just come and hang out with us sometimes and we'll see if your a good fit with us ^^

i was a wolf, yes, but I was offered a position in the Ashguard, and I felt my talents were better suited here. There were other cirumstances that caused me to leave the Wolves, but those were my own, and I stand by them, and the decisions I've made over the last couple days.

We leave invitation messages to a handful of people (mostly friends whom we know we would get along well with), simply letting them know that they are welcome to join if ever they need a guild.

Being an invitation only guild, inviting people is the only thing we can do. We do not put shackles on people, nor tempt them to join the guild when they are probably happy where they are. We just let them know that they are the sort of people that would fit in the guild that we are trying to create, and that our gates are always open for them.

If anyone have further issues regarding Ashguard Sect, please talk to me directly instead of tarnishing the reputation of our guild. Thank you for being considerate and kindly be careful next time!

Dylan, thanks for the support! No worries about me and Sawyer though, as I stated in a conversation we had earlier, we left the Wolves of our own volition (would have left anyway, to be honest, offer to join Ashguard or no.) I love the Wolves, and have a large amount of respect for all the Wolves I used to fight beside. And eventhough Sawyer and I have joined Ashguard, we both look forward to partying, and chillin together in the future. Just because we arent Wolves, dont mean we wont be around. ^^

Howdy Void... I guess this is kind of my fault. I was killing indiscriminately in PVP, regardless of guild or affiliation. Ashguard is not a guild to make political or militant moves against other guilds, as we all just want to have fun and enjoy the game to its fullest! I assure you no targeting of any particular guild was going on, and WILL NOT occur in the future. We have no desire to get involved in the spider web of political intrigue that has been seen among other guilds thus far.

We are a simple few, dedicated to having fun and helping each other advance and experience what the game has to offer, nothing more, nothing less.

We are a guild that takes members upon invitation only, but what I advise, is to get to know us in-game, hang with us, party with us. There are no guarantees as our guild is quickly filling, but we enjoy the support and getting to know new people, as well as establishing connections to new groups of players.

Its great to see people taking an interest in our guild! But, as I stated in a previous post, we at Ashguard are not currently recruiting until further notice.

The best advice I give to people who are interested (as one day we MAY in fact recruit again), is to speak with us in-game, and not be afraid to chat with us if we happen to be sitting around.

At the moment, we at Ashguard are not currently recruiting at this time. I will be glad to answer all questions anyone may have regarding this, but for the time being, I would like to have all questions/comments about joining directed to myself, not here on the thread, but preferrably in-game (IGN- notFire) or in a private PM here on the forums.

Okok.. here are some hints.. I want you to be the best in math.. and you can do it!!!!

To get the coordinate of P: Get the equation of the line for point ( -1, 7 ) and ( 5, -2 ).. Then solve silmutaneously with equation 5x - 4y - 1 = 0.. Depending on you, you will get a value for either x or y then you substitute the value back to one of the equation above to get x or y..

To find AP / PB : Use ratio of P between A and B.. I forgot the name of the technique.. I think if you read the text book or notes, you should be able to do it..

I have stated in earlier posts that at the moment, Ashguard Sect is currently not recruiting, as we are at full capacity. We appreciate the outpouring of interest from members of the community, but we simply cannot take on any more people due to the guild member limit.

I am also encouraging any who may visit this thread to at least browse it, as many of your questions, including those about membership and recruitment (or lack thereof), you would find answers to.
