I'm keen on creating a Guild with my friends. I'm wondering what the benefits are? What's the difference between a Guild and a Party?
Also, I require 300 silvers. What are the quickest ways to earn this amount? I'm still in Roumen, but I've almost reached level twenty, so I'm ready to proceed to Elderine. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

The guild keeps you and your friends always connected, so you can chat with them whenever you want. Also, you can war other guilds with your mates and have some collective fun. Basically, the guild is just a 'group of people'.
Your production skill can help you greatly on getting 300s. Especially if it is enhancement stone production, because enhancement stones are sought a lot, because most of the times the enhancements fail (xD) and the enhancer has to buy more... :P
Xirs sell especially good, since it's the last stage stone. This last stage (+7~+9) has a low chance of success, so no wonder so many xirs are sold everyday.
You can produce the stuff your skill provides and sell it through vendor when your sleeping/at school/ whatever. Just buy the recipe, get the materials and start producing.

Making a Guild brings in a lot of responsibility's and fun. First off I would strongly suggest that you wait to make your guild until you have enough game and level experience under your belt. At level 20+ being a GM (Guild Master) will be difficult. I'm not saying that all GM's have to be higher then their guildies but it would be nice to be able to at least be on par with your members. Benefits of making/joining a guild are guild pvp's. Since they put in the pvp arena's this isn't such a big thing but it's nice to have the group of people looking out for you.
As to address your financial issues, at level 20+ money is slow. You get enough money to survive if you know how to save. A tip is to try to find the best deals with your drops and if not sell it as NPC food. Putting aside extra money in storage makes it harder for you to spend (hence taking the trip back to storage to buy something makes you think about it a little longer) I wouldn't know why you need 300 silver but farming is also a big option. There are a lot of money making guides out there.
Hope I helped a little. ^^

When you make a guild, you also have a choice of it being a Warring Guild or a Non-warring guild.
If you choose to have a guild that can participate in Guild Wars, then you must be prepared for guilds randomly declaring war without warring, and fighting unfairly. Honestly I find GW's a waste of time, and people spend more time complaining than having fun. If someone wants to PvP I recommend going into a Free Battlezone.
Non-warring guilds cannot declare war, or have war declared on them. So it's really just a social network. It also means you cannot participate in the GM Guildwar Events when they are held every once in a while.
I wouldn't recommend creating a guild until you are quite set with money. That way you don't save up 300s, use it on a guild, and then be screwed when it comes to needing Stones, Skills, weapons, Etc.

I have many reason why I created my own guild...
One of them is:
Power and Desire to Rule Over Someone/Something. Being superior always feels good :D
It's a fact...LMAO sound like I'm like a Mafia leader here XD
Other "minor" reasons :p:
- Making new friends from all over other the world
- Fun and and like to chit chat with other members
- Can perform a party do some certain quests together
I have more other reasons, but most of them kinda have their own evil schemes. Muahaha XD

Why start a guild?
Good question, one that inevitably leads to the psyche of humans. A large portion of the population feels inclined to group together with others. Sometimes this is as base as just having a club of people to party with, others get more complex requiring members have a certain criteria to join. This translates directly into the game, both in "why" and "how."
The real question I think is "Why do *I* want to start a guild?"
There are PLENTY of guilds out there, I get guild invites every day. So why create another? Naturally I can only assume that the new branch is the identity of personal hobbies or requirements, or the ability to be in a leadership position.
So... I will now ask you, "Why do you want to start a guild?"
