Destroyed progress/charcters

i know i am posting this in the wrong forum because other 2 i couldnt use but i think its really unfair that they will delete all our characters and progress. If they decide to lots of people will probly quit this game and you should let them continue playing there old characters. If you do delete all the characters i will quit and so will lots of others im guessing to. Thats all bye.

Is this your first beta? They warned you they would be deleted before you ever started playing.( unless of course you didn't bother to read it)

Hi Stragy,


It is a standard procedure to erase the database after a closed beta. There are a number of reasons for this, but the primary reason is that there have been changes made to the later versions of the game client that would create bugs and serious errors in characters created with an older version (CB1 or CB2) of the game client.


This will be the only time we will do this though, so in the future any characters you create once Open Beta is underway will remain and never be erased for as long as Fiesta Online continues to run, which we hope is a very long time indeed!


We hope that you can understand the necessity of the databse wipe, and we hope that you come back and enjoy the game.

Im sorry if I'm wrong CatsClaw, and please correct me if*I am, but while I was playing during the end of Closed Beta Patch, about 6-8 hours before it closed, a message game up and said that all level 20 or above characters will be saved for the Open Beta.

If you reached level 20 your characters name would be saved for the open beta, not your character

i have to agree with everyone at the outspark team for reseting the
data because they are the real heroes of this gaming world to show us
the light of whats outside our computer room,i know what they say ,"go
anthony go to the light",and i say "but i have to go to football
practice tomorrow and im really tired from todays practice"and they
say"yes i know but go and start your quad before it dies and never
starts again",i could be that person to take the jv team to the
championships and win it all for coach.coach brought me this far and
now i have to honor him and go 100% for the goal,even if im hurt,i have
to do it for coach.


now his is what the outspark team is doing for us theyre the ones
coaching and we are the players, so do it again and remember the
inspirational words of coach,"if you dont give 100% you wont get
anywhere,and if you push for the goal you could win it alland help
yourself be a better person" so now we know what we should do,we must
push past the hardships and give 100% to bring back the lives of our
characters and win for ourselves to be a better person and not whine or
give excuses, but to save yourself and give it all for not only
yourself but for your friends to help them make it as far as you have
to....win.

quitters, and save them from giving up on others as they have given up
on themselves, so be happy they reset the data now we can show our
support for the outspark team to not quit on us as we promise not to

erm... sorry to interrupt but CatsClaw can i ask... why is there a need for 2 Close Beta ? like u mention that there is CB1 and CB2 right? erm... maybe u can enlighten me? (no hard feelings k? just asking out of curiousity's sake) =)

Mingy, there were certain changes, like the alchemy change being the most prominent, for the ones that played CB1 and 2.


I guess it's that reason that they had a 2nd CB
