why is everyone quiting?

as the title saids, im just curious and would like to know why ^_^, i myself have quitted already, but im amazed at these couple months when there would be one thread about someone leaving and then the next days after a few more threads the same would pop up.

Well why have you quit. I realy like fiesta, besides... i realy don't think that that many people are quiting, all i hear is that Archers or Clerics want to make another class. I mean i read one when the guy was just stoping to play untill the lvl cap was raised. Other than those i dont realy think that that many people are quiting...

Basically what is quoted here is exactly why many people are quitting. the main reasons for quitting are:

1) They capped and don't want to make a new character.
2) The grind finally gets to them, because around 60-70 the grind becomes enormous.
3) Lack of places to grind. With the possible exception of Epith, the higher lvls have to practically KS to get any exp.
4) Shear boredom. Sure there are KQs and whatnot, but they do get boring after awhile.

I took a three week break from fiesta, and now I am back with high hopes for the stuff hopefully being released on june 6.

well the question i ask is whether the new things that come out on june 6 change your opinion of the game. i mean the level cap will be raised maybe, but wont that mean just more grindingg? and im not sure how much exp it is when your in the 70's, but im sure the grinds will take much much longer i suppose. the gameplay will still be the game.

Fiesta is a nice basic MMO, with cute graphics and a nice community.

i tyed one that was nice i think it may be the one that soem are talking about

i won't mention the name but it had some nice things in it like diffrent character types and races rather then classes but there was classes as well

in otherwords your class didn't limit how you looked

but gameplay was terrible as far as i could see and far too easy as well i quickly uninstalled it and went back to fiesta

only feature i did like about it was you could change the height wweight skin color as well as facial features and hair color and one other thing that was funny about it was ummmm welll with female characters you could even change the ummm well ow do i put it ummmm breast size but looks aren't everything and the controls were very unfamiliar and the layout of the interface jsut urked me beyong beleif it was a more complex game and i just didn't ahve time to figure all this junk out on it

i like fiesta simple and easy to play for all ages

yay for faithful fiesta players! I quit unwillingly in Nov last year when I went overseas and came back to no friends :( But one of my friends got me back into it and i've stayed for around 2-3 months already.

I'm a person to try a game and quit them so fast. Some games I've quit in 1 month, some in 2 hours. but fiesta is still stealing money from me so i guess it has done something right. I think before I came back to fiesta, i tried about 10 diff mmos in about 1 week (lol my monthly downloads was capped very quickly)

on topic: think of it this way, lots of people quit, but it just so happens that if one person starts a topic saying "zomg i quit! lol kkthxbbai noob" then a chain of people will follow the trend. so it LOOKS like "opmg so many ppplz r leaavging fiesta musst sukcs much lawl" when really, there isn't an increase of people leaving, just a common trend that people think it is cool to leave a declaration on the forums.

I'm very fussy when it comes to games
I've only stuck to a few, namley even one with alot of botters due to the gameplay.
Had a look at that one where you could change most of a persons looks..horrible, the one coming out today? <-- CB and found it horrible.
Fiesta has nice chibi style graphics, good people in the community and boy oh boy..interative GM's/GL's/CL's and events and updates that I've only seen matched on one other game.
I'll be around for awhile yet.

Also..you can have a life and not quit Fiesta, it doesnt need you to be online all day every day, I work, go out, enjoy my life and still go on fiesta even if it's just to make scrolls for an impending hunt ;)

I don't really get why people are like "Oh a new MMORPG releases, let's go to it" because that's not special. A new MMORPG releases like every week! And the one people are referring to isn't even this special~

There are much better ones anyways.

I quit because the game got boring at level 26 for me. Mainly because I couldn't do Mara KQ anymore and couldn't get into Golden Hill KQ. And there were a few bugs and game design flaws back at christmas that made me quit.
I'm actually impressed that people got up to level 79 when I already got bored at 26 (I'm 29 now, though, because I still play a little from time to time when I'm totally bored).
The KQs are really special and the main reason why I even played this game. The first some minutes after I logged in the first time I saw those gold spamers and wanted to quit immediately, but a friend told me to at least try out the Kingdom Quests once, so I did and then was so amazed I kept playing. King Slime KQ was so fun and you only needed to do it like 3 times in order to reach the next KQ. But after that it kept getting worse. Mara didn't give as much % as Slime KQ anymore, there were so many quests that gave important items that I didn't want to skip ANY of them. I would have prefered to just do KQ again and again and not playing anything else, but the game isn't designed like that. So I carefully did all the quests and when I finally finished all I could do KQs till I leveled up. But then came new quests I had to do...
Not to mention that after doing Mara KQ like 20 times it got boring. There was also Golden Hill but I never could get into it. And at level 26 that was the critical point. No more Mara available, only Golden Hill... I could get into it a few times but not every 2 hours like I would have liked to. This finally killed it for me.

1: hard to find PTs... every one likes to SOLO or DUO.
* the game dosn't promot PTing *

2: not enough prodution skills... every one els seems to have the same skill and hard to sell stuff that is every were els.

3: mobs are to easy... i can SOLO GGK with out green gears... and i can kill levl 70 mobs at levl 30.
* Kings should be harder.. and there should be bigger mobs that drop better items. *

4: maps are small and not enough places to grind in them.
*CP has like 5 spots... it could have way more places to grind*

5: OMG the SPAM BOTS make me mad.
*they are EVERY WERE! levl 1 spammers in Uruga! ****

6: we REALLY need a higher levl town.

7: guilds almost mean nothing... so many guilds and they all die so fast.
*so many people just come then go... hard to keep friends.*

you guys talk about poor planning, but comeon guys it's still in it's OB stage give Outspark a break.....I bet this new game which I should not name will go through a stage where everyone says there's bad planning....and I checked it out it's just like another version of fiesta with the same concepts but boring but with uglier graphics, but I guess everyone has their tastes, for me I'll stick with fiesta....maybe if for once people stop worrying about power lvling until cap then this game won't seem so boring, watch once these ppl cap the new game it's gonna be the same thing all over again with a new game, it's an endless cycle....

I dont leave fiesta, i just test other games while i play fiesta.
I just feel that outspark dont do enough to fix clerics. I'm level 70 and it's hard when my heal only do 1000 hp recover o0.. in TR each monster hit on mage 500+ so.. it's sux.

i wouldnt quit simply cuz i love the people ive met here...and also the few people that quit here and there or even everyday... doesnt make much of a difference, few leave and more come...Fiesta is well advertised game, its also fun compared to some MMOs ive played.

I also think outspark is selfish, and they could be doing more to keep the people who are leaving. Wow big deal, you guys give us exp gain here and there and only because you guys seem to mess up sometimes. How bout doing something awesome for us just because you can. Oh but of course thats too much to ask.

Also i feel theres too many elements missing from the game that could make it MUCH Better, but why should i tell them....im not getting paid for my amazing ideas, you guys are and your missing a lot.

Not my case, i never made a thread saying i was leaving nor did i told to my guildmates or anyone in game i just *poofed* from the game and forums and never came back, until yesterday when i saw the Fiesta add at megaupload´s site... great, one more reason to never use Megapload.

And i´m not sure if i´ll come back or not, when i left Clerics were "broken" so the illusion i had of getting more levels to become more useful vanished slowly, until one day i decided the grinding was idiotic, excesive and the reward didn´t worth it. From what i´ve read things haven´t changed so i might just say hi to old friends and leave again.

And ***? this game´s still in OB? if my memory doesn´t fail me it´s going to be almost 1 year since this game is out, and still in OB? wow, just wow.

eh but really, ppl have left because after playing for 10months and sticking it out saying its OB their gonna fix it, and then nothing happens, you start to see the truth, i mean... 6months to fix 10 quests? with more still bugged? eh... hell no and this new game, uglier graphics? think again son, sure fiesta's cartoony stuff is more eye appealing, but this game has that realistic feel and details, but to each his own as u said, same concepts? since when did fiesta have a weekly war where 3 guilds can take over ingame towns and actually rule them till they are eventually defeated by weekly challengers, since when cud fiesta fuse 2 weapons/armours and create a new one with stats of both things fused?
meh, u need to read up son, since when did builds make such a different in fiesta... i mean, a lvl 99 vit fighter has 14k hp without greens/buffs while a str fighter same lvl has 3k hp, see the difference? lol

Well it's as simple as players reaching the current "end content" too quickly and becoming bored. I've done it on another game where the content probably won't catch up to me for about a year. Possibly more. With nothing left to gain I am now here at Fiesta. =P

Would I stop playing Fiesta? Maybe, but I'd always come back at some point.

I have multiple MMORPG's I play, multiple on-line RPG's and even more single player RPG's, not to mention all my strategy and space sims. If I play one game a lot I'll get bored of it sooner or later so I tend to hop around between games often, I won't mention the names but I've played 3 MMORPG's and an RPG in the past 4 days. Sometimes I get bored of a game for a while but I usually end up playing it for a few days again a few months down the line.

Variety is the spice of life (corny but true), if you do the same thing all the time of course your going to get bored.

The only reason i can see for quiting is the lack of respect in the game between players. If I happen to pop in somewhere that is pvp available, I should not be attacked immediately. Especially if it's a place where there are creatures, that I would prefer to be fighting. Also, a level 50+ character shouldn't be sitting in the Roumen pvp waiting to attack whoever enters the battlefield.

If you want to fight others, be respectful. Ask them if they want to fight you. If you're not weak, then you have nothing to fear by offering to fight, rather then kiling whoever you see with one shot and them having no chance against you.

I went into the Roumen pvp one day recently, just to see what's going on there. not planning to kill anyone and definitely not to harass or bully people. i was thinking of challenging several lower level people to a fight, maybe. Or fighting someone roughly equal to myself, level 33 at the time. A level 57 mage killed me within 10 seconds of me being there. Boy, that really made the game fun.

I think the game should require a person to accept a fight before another player can attack them.

This is the only current reason why i can see quiting the game.

I think people get too worked up over the pvp issue. You take the risk of being killed by going in there. And dying there has no negative impact on you, besides maybe on your ego. If you decided to go in there wearing scrolls that you lost, thats a risk you decided to take. Maybe if you lost exp I'd agree. I go in there, and I get killed sometimes, but I've never seen it as such a horrible dishonor that I would quit the game. Seems like a overreaction. Guess thats for the individual to decide though.

In the "abyss" places, I do think that there should be a certain courtesy about attacking others, and as far as I can tell there usually is. When someone decides to not follow the unspoken agreement and kills you to take your spot, yeah its irritating. On the bright side though, I find it as a good opportunity to get some friends together for some good ol' fasioned wholesome revenge.

if you can get in to the fourms then you can change your password... you don't need to know the current pass word.

And dras...how did you not understand that without knowing the password how can you log into the account. They changed my password. SO therefor i don't know it, so i can't login and reset...

5. have things to do in RL [army, work, families..]

9. scammed

and for some of them... the players are just tired to start everything anew. new account, new face, seeing purple slimes and mushrooms.. and then ratmen.. and so forth.

Well why have you quit. I realy like fiesta, besides... i realy don't think that that many people are quiting, all i hear is that Archers or Clerics want to make another class. I mean i read one when the guy was just stoping to play untill the lvl cap was raised. Other than those i dont realy think that that many people are quiting...

lol no ones quitting? the top guilds of teva have all left, serenity, collision, dragonfly, holy vanguards all main members of those guilds have all left fiesta and plenty more... there are over 200ppl that have left to a certain game in the past 2wks and thats jus ppl that i know .. who knows how many more have left... u cant say all this "quitting" is a myth :)

3) KQs higher up give so little exp
4) There are so few quests higher up
5) Prices are rediculous in-game
6) Cashshop prices are ridiculous (honestly, 25$ for an iron box, PUHLEASE)
7) When someone breaks a TOS rule, and gets reported, you rarely see anything done..
8) When something IS done, its something like a short jailtime, and a week later the person is back to breaking the TOS, most of the time that SAME rule

nice post, couldnt agree with you more. In regards to those who say using cashshop is your own choice, the game keeps pushing us more and more into using cash shop. They know you want to grind 24/7 to get to that level you so desire. use an exp boost use real money. As someone posted above me, 25 dollars for a iron box?? wow..... In the end they are a busniess, they would have to manupulate some aspect of the game to get people to buy spark cash right? The content they release is merely to quiet those who complain about the lack of content this game has and to avoid losing more "cash cows".

If you played other free to play MMORPGs before you'd see that every company does it, not only Outspark.

i have played other free mmo's, but the only thing different is that most of them didnt try to get us to use cashshop items; the advertisements were there, and if you wanted it, then buy it. The cashshop items from other games were different then the ones outspark has. All of outsparks CS items are all dedicated to either leveling you up faster or helping make your weapon look better, which in the end is pushes more people towards the need to buy it.

Just look at Secret of the Solstice and Bread 'n Butter, there the cash shop is way worse and it's kinda pointless to play without cash. In Fiesta you can still enjoy the game without any cash~

i quited cause..first..having a 7x cleric isnt easy. u can only grind in Trumpy Remairs for g00d exp. but a party there only needs one cleric. so. rare spots for u. if i was mage would be easier cause they get like 3-4 mages every party. also..i WAS SCAMMED. You are just a big baby. Fiesta is free, i know people nearing the lvl cap without spending a dime on this game so you dont have to spend anything. Take WoW, its $60 bucks to buy the game, then $15 more everymonth to play. So if you are playing a FREE mmo then you have no room to complain, if you dont like the game quit, with your attitude im SURE we wont miss you. I give a speacial thanks to all the GMs CSRs and community leaders for all their hard work on making Fiesta an awsome game.

well, i come from a HARDCORE everquest career (5 years) and i love Fiesta, it looks awesome plays similar to EQ and its FREE F R E E free.

its FREE. and more, its F U N

and its not as DEMANDING or as stressful as EQ or WOW. i want to have fun, not be expected to fill reqs and be on x hours a day. this isnt a job, its a game.

if ppl are *****ing they can leave. noones keeping them here.

take my fiancee. she left her last husband because he got wow, and forgot about her. she hates all mmmorgs because of this. well guess what? me, my son, AND her ALL play fiesta, and we play TOGETHER. thats incredible.

People who complain about the cash shop items being "pushed" on them is like someone going to a benefit dinner, then getting offended when someone asks them to make a donation.

lol your analogy is a bit wrong, because by going free benefit dinner, you should already know before hand that they are going to ask you to donate money, plus its for a good cause right? where as for cashshop, we arent being "pushed", just "pointed" into the direction of purchashing it :)
