Hello!
I have a question here. Are you going to use a hack protection? I'm asking that because my computer can handle any hack protection except for Gameguard. If you're going to use Gameguard I'll be forced to give up; I hope you use any other. 8^(

Gameguard eats resources and freezes me up. XTrap is cheaper and has less issues. I hope they choose any other instead Gameguard. Do you know the anti-hack the oriental server uses? It most likely to be the same.

either way hackers will probably find a way through the hack protection

They aways break anti-hacks... I'm worried if I'll freeze or not.

Punkbuster is good only for FPS and ppl talk bad about it. XTrap, at least, didn't fail the test I made with Gameguard and it failed. I learned a lot of stuff trying to figure out a way to stop freezing... believe... Gameguard is a rootkit and not good to keep under your system, specially because it has a driver that overrides the kernel when it's running... it's no good... none of my security apps complained about XTrap but they sure yell when it's Gameguard. I really really hope they don't use it because I'm in love with the Game's graphics and I want to play badly.

Don't forgive the scripts. Hackers have a lot of script. This scripts have free way all of the protected mmorpg.
The hackers all the time invent sorts of new. Get one step ahead of always the gamedevelopers.
The best protection may flow according to me, how if client files measure also someway check, and through the data's genuineness.

XTrap was used by GunZ and sucked living *insert curse word here*. Gameguard is alright but errors occasionally come up.

xtrap i heard is better then gameguard, punkbuster and all those other ones- its one of the newer hack protections out right now i think... i didnt start running into it untill a few months ago while I was trying out games ;)

XTrap was nicknamed XCrap at the GunZ community. Try guess why.
Punkbuster tends to log out people for no reason and ban them from hacking when they don't.
GameGuard finds adwares my normal viruscontrol can't find. ***

I think those are good news, I went to the Korean site and checked the forums, no post about Gameguard errors... so, they don't use Gameguard! XD
I hope the English version goes same way. I couldn't find what freezes me up, so, I decided to stop playing games with Gameguard.

All anti-hack programs are pretty easy to get around for a hacker but I hope they don't use Gameguard it takes me forever to get it to work on my Vista computer.

7.9.01

Through the guest user in Wxp pro (not admin user, so less likely to load hacks & viruses;) some anti-hack programs complain and block loging in due not having admin rights. Nprotect is one i think that has problems with Guest user.
