hatcher pigs in belteranin?

what makes these pigs hatcher pigs and where can i find belteranin? i'm trying to get the materials to construct the hammer for a quest....can anyone help me?

the hatcher pigs don't exist, but the "moons" (cloren, hydrin, hellyn, nitrine) can be foun by all the creatures in and around beltarranin forest.

ok....where and how exactly do i get to belteranin? what would be the quickest route from what city?

Belteranin is a map in between CV and Brynilld. (I think O_o)
I suggest go from Mystra Hill-->Mystra Basin-->Luan-->Cyorean-->Shaio-->Belteranin

Yes, it is between CV and Bryn, and also between Bryn and Essene. :) Belteranin Forest is the split between the two paths.

I think it's actually easier to get there from Essene, though, simply because there are fewer maps to travel through, and one of those maps is Brolly Basin, which is a safe zone and very small.

I agree with rorin. the fastest way to get to beltarranin is by going west from essene. However, the map exactly one map west of CV (candyvault, if you don't know), also has monsters that drop moons. so if you're just looking for moons, the fastest way to get to monsters with moons is the map right next to CV.

the fastest route is through west of essene becuase there rnt that many monsters that attack u on the way and u have to travel less maps
