Alright, so clearly lots of people leave Fiesta running for hours and hours, (otherwise they wouldn't have those flashy titles and leave those shops open for hours!) Well here's my problem, everytime I open a vendor and let my computer set, (I have the display to shut off after 1 minute of idle time when I'm away. But the computer never shuts down goes into sleep or even idles the harddisks.) it disconnects me... Now it does it in a way I only ever see if the server goes down while I'm playing. It says.

Disconnected from server
Okay

So you click okay and bam back to the launcher... So how do I fix it? Why is Fiesta not letting me keep my shop open? :(!

Your internet connection pobably goes down when your computer goes into sleep mode. Mine does that, I just change the sleep settings.

Well, simply idling (I'm assuming by idling you mean your monitors just shut off) doesn't cause you to lose internet connection. If his harddrives shut off then yeah it would. It's most likely just your internet connection. I have a spotty connection during the daytime so I can't set up shop for hours and hours.

I used to have the same problem as well... try messing with your computer's idle settings.... I'm not sure what I did right, but I found a comfortable spot for my computer to stay up for hours on end, although I can still never seem to get that Fiesta Guardian title! :( lol.. Anyhow, try that.. maybe that'll help a bit.

Kierie is right- when your computer goes into sleep, it kills certin connections.

Lol, well the problem is it doesn't go into sleep mode, I have it to avoid that, it simply turns off the monitor... Moving the mouse brings it right back up... I guess it could be something thats shutting off my connection but even so, I wouldn't think 5 minutes into it that it should disconnect me like that, any ideas on what I should tinker with? (specifics :) )

the problem with vendoring in a place like Elderine or Roumen is, there's always so many people there, that it's quite likely you'll get laggy, and disconnect because of that

At least, that's what I heard

Hmm... Well first I'd check your internet connection. Check your router/switch to see if something might be going wrong there. I know my router sometimes goes buggy and I have to reset it sometimes. Or, if you have cable, check your modem to see if it might be your cable providers' fault.

If it only goes buggy for this particular game then the most I could say would be lag/unstable servers. Basically what mifdsam suggested.

Other than that, I've no idea why you couldn't set up shop for long periods of time if you're able to be playing for a long time.
