What exactly is aim ?

I was thinking that my axe has aim:100, and it's also high in dex, does that even make a difference with my aim then ? The dex on it.

Also is aim really just how often you hit the target ?

Aim is the likelyhood it will hit the target. Not persay in percents. its Aim-evasion, which determines how often u hit. The evasion of most monsters exactly is not known, but its fairly generalized.
