question about changing class

hey guys i have a lvl 35 apprentice named Hondapowered
so far. pure pure pure int build.

doing great so far...

but as i was reading some topics ppl has mentionted to stay an apprentice?? and to read other topics??
i searched over and over to find the answer and cant find anything.
why "should" you stay an apprentice and not switch up?

I think she meant changing to mage is optional... If you decide to stay as apprentice you should see other guides, etc. But I really don't see why you wouldn't want to change, 'cuz all the new spells and equips are only for mages... O.o
