I trained in Mystra Hill and exp wasn't bad. I grinded that map from Lv27 to Lv36.

with a big party helps alot because you'll gain more experience if everyone is fighting in the party

Being a lower lvl stay solo. Go to Death Valley and fight the butterflies. You get better exp from them. Move on to the next map when the exp gets bad. When you finally reach mystra basin or mystra hill you will be doing just fine lvling on your own. I didn't start partying until I hit the 50+ because you get better exp alone
