hi i played in closed beta i was wandering if people who played in it can put there name here and if they liked closed beta better in some parts

i for my self liked the events
expectually when rider would pwn mall street with monster and they would drop items like xen stones YWM (yellow water melons for those who dont know wat is stands for) and costumes.

i was in CB, and being that SoS was my first MMORPG, I was a complete and total n00b, and I enjoyed that feeling, not knowing everything, learning the ins and outs of online ettiquette.

not only that, but I loved the events, and the lucky balls were awesome!

CB was the golden days of SoS... but I'm sure there is plenty of fun to come!

Aaah, CB....

I was in it for 2 weeks. .__. Took me that long to get to lvl 27. >.>; *hasn't a clue what he must've been thinking back then*

I don't remember events at all, I only remember LBs and getting slaughtered by rider at the end of CB (many spawns of Hou**** in Bryn ;-; Terror!)

CB and early OB were some of the best fun i've had in ages, just a shame what outspark did to this game...


oh, and actually the gap between betas on the forums were fun as hell XD

Lol -- You know what makes me laugh is when people say they've been here since the "beginning". Their meaning of beginning is early OB. :rolleyes:

Anyways; I'm with Fire that CB were the golden days of SOS. They were best for me. I loved the events (Spawn City!, two hour long PvPs that were actually fun and being named daily via forums), loved the people, loved it when everyone could SHARE a map without being mob hogs, FREE luckyballs - I know I ran for it everytime I saw one drop after a kill. Xenstones were pretty insignificant; Not many were about xenning their equips anyway-- Just everything about CB was great.

i never was in closed bete either D: started to play in late january. but it seemed like it was way more fun x.x wish i was there XD

Yeh..i started first day of cb..CB was fun due to the LBs dropping from mobs, didnt like the deleveling tho haha, and the monsters werent as hard to kill back then. And Salem valley was the most awesome map evar...since it was the only last map open that we could actually grind on. I remember Shiki and Zayki(Faintscream) battling it out in levels to reach top level for the "The Ultimate Leveling Championships (ULC): CBT Edition" event. Zayki made 7x close to 8x! But shiki still made the highest overall char and highest archer but never got his CB prizes XDDDD. Xen Stones had a higher success rate..it was easy to make a +6 gear. :o And I miss the people that I used to play with D:, their names are somwhere in the CB archives.....I think lolz.

And one last thing, there werent hard hitter mobs back then, for example aspas like in OB, but in cb they all did the same damage kinda...but no hard hitters.

Ahh when you needed jureahs pendent to class up at 16, you could get rich Trading LBs, epecially red and blue!

The first time you saw some one with a pet- and it was a poko, but it was freakin amazing. Chun grinding her *** off to get that first predicator. Free stat reset from skillmaster, trying out as many builds as you wanted to cause you could, definitly the golden age.

Lolz Dreconous was the first Predictor tho he got it with a botter, then came in Jellocake, then StriderHien, and then iunno who came in 4th etc etc.

And I think Monda was the first female predictor, but not sure I just heard that...

back on topic, I was in CB, I think that 3 weeks, but I played not very much cause university duties, I never saw a Lucky Ball on CB xD, and I was a lvl24 aco *blushes* when I finished my duties I decided to sit and play a while but CB had ended x_x

no way i definately remember chun being first female pred. She beat monda, and i thought she beat strider too. I guess i could be wrong but I guess we could ask some one with a better memory.

yea strider and ery covered most of my favorite parts. I was here from the beginning of CB as well. Woot for lvl 44 archer for like a week. XD!! I miss the crowded Salem where Jello and Strider and a couple others would save me. D: and the free outfits from spawn city, and the lucky balls, but mostly the people. A lot of people from CB didn't last long in OB, or even come over...but meh. There's plenty of cool people in OB, you just have to know where to look. ;)

oh...and rider was better as an archer. >.> :p

I don't think he was the first. I could have sworn Mordea was. You got that right with the lb's and I forgot all bout the skillmaster and resetting stats. That was awesome! Is it just me or did it seem like everyone got along during CB?

Everyone got along a lot better thats for sure. Big *** group of awesome peeps rotating in and sitting above the S gate of brynhild. That was the spot to be for so long. Killing mobs in the safezone of cobalt cave cause they couldnt attack you back. good times.

I was talking about the chick, chun-li btw. Not a guy. I think the only one who remembers by now would prolly be monda anyway. Or strider or euphie. Ahh starbears were hard once too. I Still remember when Lovey-Dovey taught me the basics of AOE at the tender lvl of 30

ah spawn city...good times ^^...especially when I partied with my friends and we would kill as many monsters as we could before we had to run out of mall street because of the crazy lag XD...
