No You Won't Have To Download Game again They Are Just Wipeing The CBT2 Server And I Belive Making Another Server and Might Keep CBT! &2 Servers Closed Or Maybe Not

thinkng that we are all worrying way to much the fine folks wouldnt have made this solid of a game w/o really trying to cover every base(so to say). can anyone let me know if youlvl 20 or up once it's all up and running again will we be able to jump back in or do we have to wait for higher lvl player to get in first?

All People No Matter The lvl You Are Should Be able To Log In When The Open Beta Is Released But Your Characters Will Be Wiped and Every Starts At 1 again If You Go lvl 20 + On CBT2 Your Character Will Be Remade Same Job Hairstyle And Name Will Be Saved But You Will Still Be lvl 1 and You Wont Have Any Of Your stuff

that is awesome mainly because getting used to the playing style i should be ready for a new run. the game would not be as good as it is with out all the cool people playing it. not to mention the folks making it.

is there any information released by the GMs that we need to re-download/install everything all over again? cause when I started my launcher it just patched up stuff.. so do we need to redownload?


another question, im living in gmt +8 zone.. anyone knows how to calculate the time diff? im getting confused over the calculation >.<

Whatever happens, happens. Just hope that once it gets out of the beta phaze we get grandfathered in and dont have to pay to play. it is only fare after all we are the testers right.

Dammit, Hrtless! Don't post with annoying as hell capitals in every letter! Not capitalizing at all is WAY less annoying (it really doesn't annoy me at all) than what you're doing.


We will have to redownload the game. If we had to for the small changes for CB1-CB2, we certainly will for OB. Did even half of you who answered no even play Fiesta CB1/CB2?<!--

I have been playing since June 26th.


I think there is a 95% chance of having to redownload a whole new client. As mentioned above we had to redownload from CB1 to CB2. The chances are extremely high we will have to do so again.


If you read GM CatsClaw post it says:

Not modifications, not patches, But a "Later version".Which to me means a totally different client.


Maybe I am wrong, But i don't think so. Expect to redownload* a new client IMO

I expect to spend a hour or so Friday evening (for me) haunting the forum while waiting for the download to finish. Many of the bugs we reported in CB2 were not and could not be fixed simply with a patch, for just one point. Also, if there are new character creation choices, like faces or hair color, then a new client needs to be downloaded.


The message from the GMs was very specific: any character that leveled to 20+ will be reset with the same name, class, and gender. I agree with Keenan that I hope we can choose a new look; I'd like to get a new hairstyle, for example, but if not then that's OK too.
